Fortnite is a battle royale game that excels in including unique quests every season. The ongoing Fortnite season four has provided players with the task to find the Scientist’s stolen research notes. The Scientist is one of the main NPCs in the game who has been a part of the game since the beginning.
Scientist’s research notes in Fortnite
One of the prominent members of the Seven Forces, the Scientist has notes which are very beneficial in helping Jones and AMIE. These notes can help them in figuring out what is happening on the island. Like all the other items on the island, the Scientist’s notes aren’t scattered all around. They can be found in a particular place and players can easily spot them once the notes are located.
Scientist’s research notes locations in Fortnite
First and foremost, players will have to head to the islands located at the eastern edge of the map. In order to get their hands on the Scientist’s notes, players will have to go to the island situated to the north of these islands, and due east of Lustrous Lagoon.
There is a modern-looking mansion situated on the island which is where you are headed. To reach this island directly make use of the Battle Bus. If you are unable to reach the exact position via the Battle Bus you’ll have to swim or you can use a hot air balloon at the top of Lustrous Lagoon to fly and drop near the mansion.
After reaching the island players will be able to notice piles of dirt that are darker in color compared to the rest of the dirt and sand around the house. Walk up to those piles of dirt and search them by using your harvesting tool. This dirt pile is where you will be able to find the Scientist’s notes. Keep in mind that the notes may not be found in one specific dirt pile. So, if you are unable to find the notes in one of the piles then leave that one and keep looking in the others.
Papers with a light shining out of them will appear on the ground when you will find the papers and there will be an in-game option that will say Collect Notes. After the notes have been collected players will get a message from AMIE notifying them that the task has been completed.
