COD Mobile Community Challenge ANZ announced with $5000 Prize Pool in Season 1

The first-ever Call of Duty Mobile tournament for ANZ region!

Activision has teamed up with Esports organizer, Australian Esports League, produced by Critical Hit Entertainment, to announce the first-ever Call Of Duty Mobile tournament for the ANZ region – COD Mobile Community Challenge ANZ. Players will be able to compete in three seasons of this competition from February to July 2021. Launching with an incredible $5,000 prize pool in Season 1, this event is a first of its kind for Call of Duty Mobile. However, the tournament is open to players living in Australia and New Zealand only.

How to participate in the tournament

To be eligible to participate, players need to register themselves first for COD Mobile Community Challenge ANZ here. However, do remember that players must be aged 15+ to register and participate in this tournament series.

Format of Call of Duty Mobile Community Challenge ANZ

The Call of Duty Mobile Community Challenge ANZ will be played in the 5v5 modes. There will be three seasons in which the tournament will be played.

Season 1

The registrations for Season 1 will start on January 18th and end on February 4th, 2021 at 23:00 AEST. This season will have two stages – Competition and Grand Finals. The Competition stage will take place from February 6th, 2021 to February 27th, 2021 with Finals on March 6th, 2021.

Season 2

The Season 2 registrations will start on March 15th and end on April 1st, 2021 at 23:00 AEST. This season will also have two stages, with the Competition stage taking place from April 3rd, 2021 to April 24th, 2021 with Finals on May 1st, 2021.

Season 3

The Season 3 registrations will start on May 10th and end on May 27th, 2021 at 23:00 AEST. This season will also have two stages like the other two, with the Competition stage taking place from May 29th, 2021 to June 19th, 2021 with Finals on June 26th, 2021.


Season 1 has a Prize Pool of $5000 up for grabs!

Competing players will be vying for the top positions to earn a share of the prize pool over each season. Prizes are paid out to the top 8 placing teams in each season. The COD Mobile Community Challenge ANZ Season 1 has a prize pool of $5000 up for grabs. The reward amount will be distributed among the top 8 teams in Season 1.

Where to watch COD Mobile Community Challenge ANZ?

Players and fans will be able to watch the tournament live along with commentary. Matches are to be streamed live on the Australian Esports League’s Twitch channels and replay VOD’s posted to YouTube.

The tournament will act as a platform for players to make a name for themselves, meet other players, make friends and build a local community
