The third week of CRL West 2019 just ended! This has been another crazy weekend, full of interesting matches and really close battles! While we wait for the fourth week, let’s jump into it and take a look at the highlights of this third weekend!

Saturday, September 28: Fifth day of CRL West 2019

The matches of this fifth day of the competition were really interesting! Let’s take a look at the schedule down below:

crl west 2019 third week schedule

As you can see, teams like Dignitas and Team Queso actually played two matches in one day. Interestingly enough, the victory went to all the teams in the blue side! This means that Dignitas VS Team Queso ended up in a 2-0 victory for Dignitas, scoring their first win of the competition. NRG VS Pain Gaming went 2-1 for NRG. SK Gaming VS Complexity ended up 2-1 for SK. Another 2-1 for the former champion Team Liquid in Team Liquid VS FNATIC. Then, Cream eSports VS Tribe went 2-0 for Cream. Team Queso VS Misfits Gaming ended up with a 2-1 for Queso. Last but not least, Immortals VS Dignitas went 2-0 for Immortals.

This first matchday of the week was really crazy! Once again. the meta stayed the same as the other days. After the next balance changes, we will surely see some changes in the decks. Maybe the new leaked card, the Elixir Golem, will also be played! We will see, only time will tell!

Sunday, September 29: Sixth day of CRL 2019

The matches of the second day of this week-end were kind of interesting as well. Though, this time, only the red teams won! This looks like a weird coincidence, but it is what it is. Let’s take a look at what the schedule looked like:

The first match Pain Gaming VS Cream eSports ended up with a 2-1 for Cream. Next, Tribe VS Team Liquid was an incredible victory from Liquid, thanks to Surgical Goblin who pulled off some crazy games in the KoTH set. Complexity VS Immortals ended up with a really close 2-1 for Immortals. Misfits Gaming VS NRG was a clean 2-0 for NRG. FNATIC VS SK Gaming also was a 2-0 for SK. Finally, Dignitas VS Pain Gaming (once again), ended up with a 2-0 for Pain.

This time, Team Queso didn’t play at all, while Pain Gaming played two matches in a row. Some match-ups were kind of close, while other ones were really defined since the start. We saw a lot of strategy in the deck picks from basically every team. Many of them were able to pick some counters and pull a victory off that!

Now, let’s take a look at the actual leaderboard after this week matches:
