ESL Mobile Open Europe and MENA Season 2: Here’s what we know

Season 2 is coming with an expansion!

ESL, the world’s largest Esports company, has revealed details of ESL Mobile Open Europe and MENA Season 2. Players from Europe, the Middle East, and North America are eligible to participate in the second season of this tournament. The last event featured only Asphalt 9: Legends and PUBG Mobile. Europe was the only region participating in it, but the participation number was too high. Almost 500,000 participants took part in both the games. And therefore now the second season of the tournament comes with an expansion to more regions.

About ESL Mobile Open Europe and MENA 2020 Season 2

The second season of the tournament will feature more games and more regions. The tournament will also double the gaming titles in Season 2, with the online esports tournament featuring Asphalt 9, Auto Chess, Clash of Clans, and PUBG Mobile. The event will also allow two teams from India for Clash Clans, even though it’s an Asian country.

Players have to qualify among the others in order to advance to the finals. The grand finale will have 4 teams competing against each other. Players will compete for an €85,000 (about $99,670) prize money. Those who are willing to participate can register themselves on the official ESL Mobile Open website

Moreover, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the entire tournament will be played online and the grand final will be streamed from ESL’s Katowice studio in Poland, with talent onsite for fans to enjoy.

“We’re very excited to build on the success of 2019’s Season 1 by expanding ESL Mobile Open into the MENA region for 2020, while continuing to expand in Europe. We have also introduced the game titles Auto Chess and Clash of Clans. The bar for success is high, but Season 2 will be bigger and better than its predecessor and we wish the players the best of luck in the competition.”
