While the Show Time Martin Ødegaard was making rounds, the more popular 50-pack was another one in eFootball 2026, which was the Epic Atep pack. He has been a popular pick from the National Legends Selection Contract campaign, and this time, he is back again, so the craze is still intact.
After spinning him early and also luckily getting him quickly, here’s my review for Epic Atep, while also giving you the best Progression point allocation, and Skills you can add to him in eFootball 2026.
eFootball 2026 Epic Atep review
Atep
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Show Time Skill: Acceleration Burst and Blitz Curler
This is technically not a completely new Atep card since we already had the Nation Selection Contract version earlier, but this new Epic version is clearly a much bigger upgrade than his first card.
The position and playstyle stay the same, but the massive addition here is Acceleration Burst. Honestly, that skill changes a lot for me personally. I already love using forwards with Acceleration Burst in my team, players like Owen and Shevchenko, for example, because that sudden extra burst creates that separation from defenders.
He gives that very confident close-control feel on the ball, where turning, shifting directions, and carrying the ball all feel nimble. I tried him with both the autobuild and my own custom build, where I trimmed a few points from dribbling, and in both cases, he still felt excellent.

Now, coming to the main reason many people will probably go for him, the Blitz Curler. Yeah, it is strong. I would say getting the finishing into the 90s helps here because hitting the target consistently improves a lot. He scores regularly once he cuts inside, especially from those usual Blitz Curler zones.
If you don’t want to heavily invest in finishing progression, I’d still suggest trying to keep it at least around the high 80s because the difference is noticeable. For my build, I completely ignored passing allocation and put zero points there.
Some people may prefer a more balanced winger who can cross and create more, I lean that way too. With this card, I didn’t feel much of a difference in the passing; maybe it is the game.
Physicality still isn’t amazing, obviously, but this isn’t really a pure physical-contact meta anymore where every winger needs to bulldoze defenders. Players who can actually dribble sharply still stand out a lot, and Atep definitely belongs in that category.
Suggested Skills: Fighting Spirit, First Time Shot, Marseille Turn, One Touch Pass, Outside Curler
Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct, Free-kick taking
