As soon as the new season kicked off in FIFA Mobile, everyone was super hyped for the new FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign. EA introduced a grinding permanent event where players will have to complete certain milestones throughout the season in order to claim the 98 OVR Prime Icon Zinedine Zidane!
Similar to SBC Sancho and Hazard Event released recently, Zidane was the first permanent event to be released in-game which gave the players the chance of claiming a Prime Icon totally Free to Play. Although a lot of players have completed the campaign, for those of you who are still stuck in limbo and finding difficulty, here is our guide to ease things up!
FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign: An Introduction
In order to claim the Beastly 98 OVR CAM card, Zidane, you need to complete a set of milestones on way to your journey. So as you head to the milestones tab to check your progress, you will have to complete the entire World Tour, reach FIFA Masters in either VSA or H2H. You will have to win 50 League vs League tournaments and many more!
- World Traveler: You’ll have to complete the entire World Tour, all 39 Chapters, done and dusted.
- Goal Supremacy: You need to score 10,000 Goals anywhere in-game.
- Mobile Mastery: You need to complete the Mobile Master Part 5.
- Division Overload: Reach FIFA Masters in Divison Rivals, ie either VSA or H2H.
- League Legend: You’ll need to win 50 League vs League tournaments with the help of your league mates.
- Rising Star: Keep playing the game and reach Account Level 50.
- Zizou: Complete the entire Zidane Campaign ie all the 3 Career Parts.
- Club Master: Build a 100 OVR Squad on your road to FIFA Mobile.
- Champion: Spend a total of 300,000 Training XP as you train and upgrade your players in-game to be the best version of themselves.
Keep in mind that the above milestones can’t be reached overnight. This is a grinding event and it requires you to grind your way through as you progress on your journey in FIFA Mobile 20.
Without further ado, let’s go straight to our guide as we discuss the strategy on how to complete the FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign ie the Zizou Milestone.
FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign: Career Part 1
Overview
In this chapter, you will be required to play and win a total of 11 matches to advance through the chapter. You are required to build a team of French Players only in order to play these matches. The players you can earn from this chapter are:

Squad Building
In order to build an 85+ OVR Team, you will get help from high-rated elites and masters in your inventory. Place a fast striker in your squad who can head properly. For most of the matches, you will have to cross it to your strikers with your pacy right-wingers and expect them to finish the job. The idea is to have a good midfield and defense to take the ball as quickly as possible and then slowly get into a crossing position for the striker. Matuidi is great as CDM cause he works for Serie A too, but never attacks with him.
The matches are not really very hard and with a team consisting of cheap Clair de Lune Elites and a formation supporting pact wingers, cross spamming is the way to go for these matches. For the initial games of this chapter use 4-3-3 formation where you don’t need to defend much.
Netherlands Match
Firstly good news is the match starts with a Penalty so it is more like a 1-3 than 0-3. Then post kickoff restarts, try to move quickly with your 2nd Defender button. Keep a 3-4-3 formation with since you have four midfielders try to put in two CDMs (preferably use Kante as he presses perfectly).
Having players like Modeste 82 OVR at ST does your job. Cross it to him and he will finish with without hesitation. Earning corners also might help you if you have tall center-backs. Also additionally you can pass it to the right winger, run inside do the finesse and shoot. This is why players on the right side should have strong weak foot.
Since this match allows you with the luxury of a Penalty Shootout, you have higher chances of winning it from there. And that’s it you have your goalkeeper for the next part, Buffon in your squad! You are now closer to claiming Zidane than you have ever been in FIFA Mobile 20!
FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign: Career Part 2
Overview
In this chapter, you will be required to play and win a total of 11 matches to advance through the chapter. You are required to build a team of Serie A Players ie the players from the Italian League only in order to play these matches. The players you can earn from this chapter are:

- Sergio Ramos 88 OVR CB

Squad Building
In order to build a 95+ OVR Team, you will get help from high rated elites and masters in your inventory. Star Pass Under can be really handy in the first few games and consider having him as your right-wing. Place a tall striker in your squad who can head properly, preferably TOTW Ibrahimovic. With decent strikers out there, it would be relatively easier to build a squad with the help of Easter Rebic or Picnic Party Lasagna. Additionally, you can put in Top Transfer Carles Perez in right-wing, and with his speed, he can whip in crosses to the box for your strikers to finish.
You should be able to get the players easily, namely the elites from the Colosseum Event. Try to field a 4-3-3 attack formation or 4-2-4 formation with fast pacy wingers and two tall strikers. It would be more or less a heading competition between your strikers.
Brazil Match
Try not to go into this match with the 2nd defender on as it rarely works. Keep it in mind this is going to be one of your toughest PvE matches you have faced till date. Brazil players are just too fast and pass to quickly and you won’t get the ball that way. Try to make full use of the corners if they come in your way and have tall center-backs.
You don’t get extra time in this match so you will need to score all your three goals as fast and quickly as possible. If you have good right-wingers you can try cutting into the box and full power finesse into the top left corners of the goal. Sprint to get past the defender and then full power shot on the top left corner mostly solves the problem. Or you can put your best header in the LW and try-scoring with him, for example, Lunar Ronaldo.
Winning this match rewards you with your first free Icon Petit in your squad. A really decent CDM who performs well in H2H matches.
Fiorentina Match
The final match in this chapter is starting a perfect comeback against Fiorentina from 3 goals down. You have to complete the comeback within the given 90 minutes as this match doesn’t go to extra time.
Remember to make full use of finesse power shots by cutting corners and to head in any corner if at all they come in your way. This might not happen in one go, be patient you also need a fair amount of luck by your side. And that’s it you have your captain and center back for the next part, Sergio Ramos in your squad! You are now a step further in claiming Zidane in FIFA Mobile 20.
FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign: Career Part 3
Overview
In this chapter, you will be required to play and win a total of 15 matches to advance through the chapter. You are required to build a team of Real Madrid Players only in order to play these matches. The players you can earn from this chapter are:

Squad Building
The final six matches in the third chapter of the FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign require a full 11 man Real Madrid Squad. These are the matches where things get really tough. Here is the place where you will need a Rental Squad. A Rental Squad is a group of untrained players purchased from the market with the sole intent of selling them when you are done. There is no training involved due to loss in XP values. Without any training involved, you will be just buying the players and selling them back after using them.
Again use a fast right-wing, preferably Base Gareth Bale or UCL Rodrygo use his speed to get to the corner and play the ball to a near post striker who is good with the heading, ie Base or Easter Mariano. Bale can be a massive game-changer if you are cutting in and shooting inside or from even outside the box. Additionally, you may put POTM Sergio Ramos at LW or a far post striker to utilize his power headers. There are a lot of Real Madrid players to choose from especially with TOTY, TOTSSF, La Liga Rivalries, and TOTW events.
Brazil Match
The good thing in this Brazil match is that we have a lot of time to score the four goals needed to complete the comeback. Remember that Brazil starts with a penalty in their favor, so you have to save it. Hesitate not to forfeit that match if it doesn’t work out in your favor initially. You are playing 110 Brazil so you will get very few chances outrunning them. They happen to get the ball quickly are too quick for 2nd defender. Try to follow with one player only.
When attacking cut through the center frequently and try to score at least one of the four goals before the end of the first half if not two to reduce the pressure in the second half. Try not to miss any of your corners and especially with Ramos on your side you shouldn’t! If you have pacy wingers such as Bale and Hazard they will do the job for you most of the time.
Winning this match rewards you with your second free Icon Henry in your squad. A really decent striker who performs well in VSA and H2H Matches.
Juventus and Liverpool Match
In the Juventus match, you start down by 3 goals against 109 Juventus. It starts at 20 mins meaning you have 70 mins to score all the four goals with the match starting at a goal kick. As soon as the match starts, you will have to start moving quickly as you need that first counter-attack goal to get the match underway. Then from kickoff press fast but don’t turn on the second defender.
Try switching players rather than chasing the ball. on regaining possession, drive up the touchline with your right-winger, and look for the perfect cross. Worse case, you can get a corner and expect Ramos to finish that. The trick is to have good and fast midfielders who can win the ball quickly. Also, we suggest you might want to change the right-wing strategy to left-wing here since LB Alex Sandro is tough to bypass.
In the Liverpool match you start with a two goal deficit in the 55th minute of the match, against 120 Liverpool. The problem lies in you start the match facing a penalty against Liverpool with Fabinho taking it. Don’t hesitate to quit and restart if you fail to save it. After you get the ball in Courtois hand, play out from the back and drive to the near flag looking or the cross. Make sure you get the opportunity to get the ball in range for a shot. Even if you get a corner you need to get the ball on target with power.
On kickoff you are going to press quickly with the second defender yes you have to turn it on now. Look for a quick counter attack and try to get in the range for a cross and a header before the end of 90 minutes. In this match you do go into extra time and eventually penalties so you have the luxury of that as well. Ater you finish this dreaded Liverpool match. Congratulations, now you can walk with a million coins and 90 rated RM Bale , not to mention another milestone achieved on road to Zidane.
FIFA Mobile 20 Zidane Campaign Tips and Tricks
Before heading out, here are our some of the bonus tips and tricks to ease your way in getting Zidane in FIFA Mobile 20.
- Finesse shot spam often makes everything way easier than cross spamming especially in the games against Juventus and Liverpool.
- Don’t spend money on defense, most teams fail to score, and if they do just restart the game all over. Never hesitate to forfeit.
- Base Areola or Star Pass Courtois is more than sufficient as your GK.
- Right Wing is the most important position in all formations and for all the chapters. Have a proper fast right-winger who can also dribble well.
- The best way to win quickly: play a couple of passes around the right baseline and dribble the last defender so RW can finesse. It’s either a goal, corner, or a rebound for the striker.
- If a finesse shot is hard, try to get corners and cross to Ramos, he scores 90% of the time.
- It’s easy to beat Liverpool in penalties, just keep GK in the middle. For taking penalties, always aim at the right upper corner as powerful as you can by swiping fast.
- Again, not every gaol is going to come from cross spamming into the header. You have other tools in your box, don’t be afraid to use them.
Remember you are playing against the AI not another human so the gameplay becomes predictable gradually. So don’t be afraid to forfeit if you give up a goal at some point, ever!
In the end, it comes down to more about commitment to tactics and staying focused than really being good at this game. Some of these matches seem impossible at times until they aren’t, eventually, things are going to line up, you’ll succeed and you’ll never ever have to play this match again.
Even at this late in the season, Zidane is still a card worth going for. He is still perfect for H2H and your first free Prime Icon if claiming Prime Icon Nesta is tough for you. Although his satisfactory shot power lets him down massively in VSA as you climb higher, he is still your usual go-to card for H2H. Plus its none other than the mighty Zinedine Zidane so why the hell not!
