The Team of the Week (TOTW) event is live in FIFA Mobile 21! As players outshine their opponents with their enthralling performances over the weekend, EA releases their in-game versions every week in the Team of the Week (TOTW) promo. Every week a new team of 11 players with high-rated elite cards based on the player’s onfield performances during the last weekend. There are two event currencies, namely TOTW Tokens, and TOTW Premium Points. Additionally, there are new weekly SBC challenges available to collect TOTW players.
FIFA Mobile 21 Team of the Week (TOTW)
Team of the Week is back in its old format where you can open up packs for coin and there are the TOTW starters on display. You can earn TOTW Tokens from playing Division Rivals and TOTW Premium Points from weekly Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and redeem them for TOTW players every week.
There are two token offers namely;
TOTW Token Pack
This is the TOTW Token Pack which has a silver card on a guaranteed pull with a 34% chance of a Gold + Player pull (not happening!). You can open this pack in exchange for TOTW Tokens that can only be obtained from Division Rivals only. This pack is nothing elusive and not worth it unless you have an excessive amount of TOTW Tokens from your Division Rivals grind to spend on.
TOTW Premium Pack
This is the TOTW Starter Premium Pack, which has an elite card guaranteed on a pull. You can open them for TOTW Premium Points, which you can buy from the store (don’t) or complete the weekly SBCs. This pack is actually worth it as the elites don’t repeat ie you are guaranteed a different elite every time.
TOTW Squad Building Challenges (SBCs)
These are Squad Building Challenges that you can complete to redeem TOTW Premium Points. You don’t want to skip on them as they are relatively easy and reward you with TOTW Premium Points. You can complete these challenges easily as more TOTW Players are introduced to the market, the prices of the players will reduce gradually.
Gold TOTW
Make a squad of a minimum of 4 TOTW players with a total minimum Team OVR of 76 from a minimum of 4 different Nations and 4 different Teams/Clubs with a maximum of 1 player from a particular nation or club in exchange for 20 TOTW Premium Points.
Note: You can complete this SBC for a total of 3 times every week.
Elite TOTW
Make a squad of a minimum of 4 TOTW Elite players with a total minimum Team OVR of 82 from a minimum of 4 different Nations and 4 different Teams/Clubs with a maximum of 1 player from a particular nation or club in exchange for 100 TOTW Premium Points.
Note: You can complete this SBC for a total of 2 times every week.
FIFA Mobile 21 Team of the Week (TOTW) Guide: Tips and Tricks
TOTW is a permanent event in FIFA Mobile, therefore you will get enough time to plan out your strategy. Collect your premium points from the SBCs and stack them until your favorite player or a master card (90+ OVR) comes in the Team of the Week.
If opened and obtained players within the first hour of release, the players can earn you a fortune from the market. Make sure to undercut prices from the suggested price as it will only go on decreasing till it stabilizes. Horde on to your TOTW Premium Points and redeem them on the elite pack once a master arrives. Since you can only claim a player only once so it does increment your chances of landing your target players from the TOTW set. Additionally, you can even coin packs from the store to get your desired TOTW player from that week.
The Squad Building Challenges are fairly easy and you should be able to complete them without any hassle. You may skip out the first week due to inflated prices on the TOTW elites right now. But hold on, wait a while as more TOTW cards are introduced, prices will only continue to drop and once the POTM (Player of the Month) Tournament arrives you can get the TOTW players for dirt cheap prices from the market.
