Starconch are empty seashells brought ashore by the tides. On holding it close enough to your ear, you can hear the longing calls of the sea. They are used for the ascension of the Tartaglia Childe to level 90.
Where to find Starconch Aster in Genshin Impact
Starconch can be notably found in
- On the beaches of Liyue
- On the frigid coastlines of Dragonspine closer to Liyue
- Can be bought from Bolai
Starconch can be found mostly on the beaches of Liyue, from Yaoguang Shoal to Guyun Stone Forest beaches. They can also be found east of the Teleport Waypoint in the Sea of Clouds. Some Starconch can also be found on the frigid coastlines of Dragonspine closer to Liyue. As of version 1.4, it may also be bought from Bolai.
How is Starconch Aster useful in Genshin Impact?
Above given are the locations for all the 65+ Starconches marked, you can find them from Yaoguang shoal to Guyun Stone forest and on coastlines of Dragonspine closer to Liyue as well as in a sea of clouds. There are many teleport points near these places so it should be easy to farm them. Starconch refreshes every 48 hours or 2 days, same as any other ascension/Consumable item.
- Currently, Tartaglia (Childe) is the only character who uses Starconch for ascension, he requires a total of 168 Starconches each to ascend to level 90.
- None of the weapons currently use Starconch in their ascension.
- Starconch is not used in any dishes as of now.
- You can use Starconch in the Parametric Transformer.
Additionally, you can also buy 5 Starconches for 1000 mora each every 3 days from Mr. Bolai. Bolai is an NPC in Liyue Harbor, located under the wharf. He is the owner of Wanyou Boutique.
