  • Classification: The Eremites
  • Damage inflicted: Pyro

The Scorching Loremaster is a mage-like woman that deals pyro damage to your character. In her Normal State, she has three attack patterns.

  • Gem Missiles: The enemy targets the player and fires 4 missiles that deal Pyro damage upon contact. Dashing and using i-frames is recommended.
  • Explosive Beam: Fires a large beam onto the ground where the player is located that deals big AoE Pyro damage. This attack can easily be avoided by timing the part when the ground starts to glow red and dashing away.
  • Gemfall: Another set of projectiles, with this time having more of a larger AoE and higher damage. The missiles are launched into the air till all 4 of them target the player on the ground. Be sure to dodge through them.

Enhanced State: Just like the other high-tier Eremite enemies such as the Stone Enchanter or the Galehunter, when the Scorhing Loremaster has her HP below 70%, she will enter an Enhanced State and summon a Spirit of Omen: Pyro Scorpion. This enhanced state allows her to have high resistance (especially high Pyro RES) and high resistance to interruption, dealing increased damage to the players.

In order to defeat the enemy while in this state, players should target the Pyro Scorpion and defeat it. Once it is defeated, the enemy is stunned and paralyzed with an increased reduction of Elemental Resistance. Players must take this opportunity of time to deal a massive amount of damage to the enemy.
