Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 came earlier this week and brought along a massive Marvel crossover event with it. There are a few skins that come with different challenges, such as Thor, Wolverine, and Iron Man. If you bought the battle pass, you’ll unlock the normal Tony Stark skin once you reach Battle Pass tier 93, and you’ll have to reach Tier 100 to unlock his Awakening Challenges. Completing all 3 of these challenges will grant you the Suit Up emote for the Tony Stark skin, allowing you to put on the Iron Man suit. In this guide, we’ll help you with steps to unlock the Iron Man suit in Fortnite.
What are the Awakening Challenges in Fortnite?
Once you reach Battle Pass tier 100, you’ll still need to do some challenges. One type of these includes Awakening Challenges, which will give you the Suit Up emote upon completion. However, you will need to do some prerequisite challenges. You will have to use a phone booth, deal damage with pistols of different rarities, and use an emote after getting an elimination all while using the Tony Stark skin.
Awakening Challenges to unlock Iron Man Suit in Fortnite
To collect the suit in Fortnite, you need to complete certain tasks so as to unlock the suit and then use it. They are as follows:
Reach 88mph in a Whiplash vehicle
Reaching 88 miles per hour is easy, but the real challenge is finding a Whiplash vehicle in the first place. It is a pretty rare vehicle, so keep an eye out for its vibrant blue and red colors. Once you finally find this supercar, make sure you’re in a good position to go straight and push the car up to 88mph to complete this Awakening Challenge. Make sure you’re driving the Whiplash while using the Tony Stark skin, too, or you won’t be able to complete the challenge.
Use an Upgrade Bench
The second Awakening Challenge is to use one of the Upgrade Benches located across the map. Before you head to an Upgrade Bench though, make sure you have a weapon that you can upgrade. You’ll also need to be wearing the Tony Stark skin to get the credit for completing this challenge.

Emote in the Stark Workshop
The third and final task of the Awakening Challenges is to do an emote while inside of the Stark Workshop. You can find it easily because it’s the barn in the middle of the map in Fortnite. You will need to make sure you’re emoting as the Tony Stark skin. After that, congratulations! You’re ready to Suit Up!
