Best Characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: GS

1. Giorno Giovanna

Kicking off our tier list is Giorno Giovanna, and there’s a strong reason for that. Rather than specializing in one area, he can deal damage, heal, and provide buffs to teammates. His first Ultimate skill, Life Creation, heals the ally with the lowest HP for 50% of Giorno’s max HP. As his abilities improve, he can provide up to 70% of his max HP.

If support isn’t your style, Giorno can switch to offense with his second Ultimate, Consciousness Rampage. This Ultimate deals massive attack damage of 1600% and has a chance to incapacitate the target for 5 seconds. And to top things off, an incapacitated target takes 80% more damage. This gives your team a massive opening to deal more damage.

His Tissue Repair skill makes him a stronger support option by healing the ally with the lowest HP for 35% of his max HP. Meanwhile, Life Energy Detection increases his max HP and attack, and restores Energy to all allies during battle. And that’s not all Giorno can do.

Giorno can create a shield through Reflective Shield, while Golden Growth allows his Ultimate to restore additional Energy to its target. Consequently, Giorno doesn’t simply keep teammates alive; he actively helps them use their abilities more frequently. His combination of healing, Energy generation, shielding, crowd control, and damage makes him an outstanding character.

2. Koichi Hirose

Next on our list is Koichi Hirose, and he earns a spot at the top thanks to his crowd control and offensive strength. His Ultimate ability, Smack, applies Onomatopoeia to allies and deals 400% damage to enemies within his range. Additionally, this skill can immobilize enemies for three seconds when in range.

Koichi’s passive ability, I Won’t Forgive You!, allows basic attacks from allies with Onomatopoeia to deal additional damage. His Reverb ACT 2 passive skill increases the attack speed of two allies when he uses his Ultimate. Also, when an ally with Onomatopoeia is defeated, Reverb ACT 2 immediately triggers Onomatopoeia again, dealing significant area damage.

3. Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli

Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli is another strong pick for our list thanks to his excellent arsenal. The name of his Ultimate is Bubble Lenses, and it causes his basic attacks to ricochet between enemies, allowing him to mow down multiple targets. And when his Ultimate is activated, Caesar fires Hamon bubbles at his target, which deal additional damage to vampires and zombies.

He also has Bubble Barrier, which deals 400% attack damage and has an 80% chance to immobilize its target for three seconds. And Caesar becomes even more dangerous as his attack speed stacks. His passive abilities allow him to gain additional attack speed when receiving buffs and provide extra damage.

4. Jotaro Kujo

Jotaro Kujo is one of the most popular characters in JoJo, and his performance in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: GS matches his reputation. His You’ve Angered Me Ultimate places Jotaro into an Enhanced state, causing his next five basic attacks to become powerful combos. However, Jotaro’s most impressive ability is undoubtedly Time Stop.

When activated, Jotaro can dash toward a target before unleashing 12 instant strikes, with each hit dealing 200% attack damage. But more importantly, Time Stop freezes all other enemies for three seconds. Also, the final strike deals additional damage based on how much of the enemy’s HP is shaved off already.

Jotaro also has Ora Ora Ora, which strikes enemies repeatedly and can inflict both Stun and Defense Down. Meanwhile, his passive abilities provide additional survivability and offensive scaling. As a result, Jotaro can function as both a devastating attacker and a surprisingly durable frontline character.
