So make sure to check these hero guides as well. For now, let’s focus on Lunox.

Skill Analysis

Lunox brings four unique skill sets to the battlefield, each backed by a special passive ability for both her light and dark forms. In her Light form, she’s great at poking enemies and healing herself, acting tougher. Her light ultimate helps her dodge crowd control effects when things get tough. On the other hand, her Dark form focuses on dealing heavy damage. Using her dark ultimate, she can hit an enemy hard, making it easier to finish them off. So let’s look into the skill sets separately. In this Lunox guide, let’s see what are her abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of him.

Passive – Dreamland Twist (Buff)

Lunox has lost all sense of time and reality and as a result, she does not benefit from Cooldown Reduction. However, any Cooldown Reduction will have different effects depending on her current Power.

  • Power of Chaos: When enhanced, 80% of her Cooldown Reduction turns into Magic Penetration.
  • Power of Order: When enhanced, 120% of her Cooldown Reduction becomes Physical and Magic Defense.

Lunox doesn’t need to reach the maximum of 2 Stacks for Chaos and Order to make an impact, having just 1 Stack fully activates their effects.

Skill 1 – Starlight Pulse (AOE, Heal)

CD – 2.0

In this skill, she summons a rain of starlight on nearby enemies and deals 200( +110% Total Magic Power) magical damage to them while recovering 60( +20% Total Magic Power) HP per hit. It gets doubled when this skill hits enemy heroes. You can also use this skill to shift in light mode. Hitting this skill will bring you to light form every time.

In the early game, using this skill lets Lunox clear minion waves smoothly. Its area-of-effect damage quickly deals with groups of minions, ensuring she gets the resources and experience she needs. Plus, the healing effect keeps her sustaining her HP, allowing her to stick around in the lane without having to go back to base too often.

Skill 2 – Chaos Assault (Damage, Slow)

CD – 2.0

With this skill, Lunox unleashes a surge of chaotic energy at a targeted enemy hero, dealing a potent blow of magical damage amounting to 200 (+120% of her magical power) and 2.5% of the enemy’s maximum health. Against creeps, the damage is even higher—100% of their maximum health. Additionally, it slightly slows the enemy’s movement for a brief moment. This skill serves as the gateway to Lunox’s dark mode and can also shift her from light to dark mode while dealing damage to nearby enemy heroes.

It shares a cooldown with Starlight Pulse, and it’s recommended to use this skill for your initial two attacks in the lane.

Skill 3 – Cosmic Fission (Slow, AOE)

CD – 10.0 / 9.5 / 9.0 / 8.5 / 8.0 / 7.5

This is an AoE-type skill where she deals 300( +150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the enemies along the way and slows them by 40% for 2s. One of the best skills to finish the enemy off. This is a neutral skill and doesn’t shift you to modes.

Ultimate Skill

Lunox has interestingly 2 ultimates. One is for the light form and the other is for the dark form.

Power of Order: Brilliance (Invincible, AOE)

CD – 28.0 / 24.0 / 20.0

When Lunox is in the light form she has this ultimate which allows her to transform herself into an invulnerable state for 3s. She also deals 100–140 (+50%% Total Magic Power)Magic Damage per 0.5 seconds to nearby enemies. While in this state Lunox can move freely and is immune to damage and all kinds of CC.

Power of Chaos: Darkening (Slow, AOE)

CD – 25.0 / 20.0 / 15.0

This skill is the only reason why many players still fear Lunox. This skill allows her to blink in a designated direction, causing 250–450 (+100% of her magical power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies. Additionally, it slows them by 35% for 4 seconds and boosts her own Power of Chaos for the next 4 seconds. During this time, her Chaos Assault doesn’t have any cooldown, giving her a relentless edge in combat.

Both the ultimates have their own cooldown time but they cannot be cast back to back. The casting period of one ultimate after the other has its own cooldown time too.

Skill-up Methods for Lunox

Start the game by taking skill 1 first as it is the basic source of damage for Lunox. Then take skill 2 as the main AoE damage source. Upgrade skill 1 to max as fast as possible as it will reduce the cooldown time. Upgrade skill 2 to level 3 before maxing out skill 1.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Lunox in Mobile Legends

As you play Lunox on the mid-lane. There are three different emblems we would like to recommend. Use a Custom Mage emblem or Custom Assassin emblem and find out what suits you better.

Custom Mage Emblem

It will provide both Magic Power and Cooldown Reduction as well as Magic Penetration. For standard talent, we would recommend going with Rupture and Weapon Master, as they will provide penetration and bonus extra attack boosting her overall damage output. Lethal Ignition is for the core talent, increasing her damage against low-health enemies, ensuring she can finish off targets swiftly.

Mobile Legends Lunox Gameplay Tips

Lunox demands a delicate balance between harnessing the powers of light and dark and understanding the nuances of her gameplay. With her dualistic abilities, Lunox offers a unique playstyle that requires strategic thinking and adaptability. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Lunox guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early Game

In the early game, focus on farming efficiently to scale up Lunox quickly. Use her Starlight Pulse skill to clear minion waves, securing gold and experience. Aim to harass opponents with calculated pokes while maintaining lane control.

Mobile Legends Lunox Guide

Prioritize building core items like Clock of Destiny and Lightning Truncheon to boost her damage output. Keep an eye on rotations and assist teammates in skirmishes when possible, utilizing her crowd control abilities to turn fights in your team’s favor.

Mid Game

In the mid-game, it’s most appropriate that you will be targeted for sure. Remember your 2nd skill can lock on the targets so choose you targets carefully and don’t overcommit. Lunox’s power spikes with completed core items. Utilize her mobility with Flicker for strategic positioning in team fights, aiming to burst down squishy targets with her combo of skills.

Coordinate with teammates for objectives and ganks, exploiting Lunox’s high burst damage to secure kills and control the map.

Late Game

In the late game, just kill anyone who comes near you but doesn’t over-commit. Overcommitting can bring the whole team down in a second. Try to pick on the enemy carry first as he will be most easy to kill and after the main or carry is dead the whole team is most likely to go down. Remember that goes for you too, so try not to die first.

Mobile Legends Lunox Guide

Try to keep yourself in the light form as much as possible as it is most likely for you to get ganked and in the light form, you can easily get away from any situations using the light form ultimately. So use that properly and you will win every match for sure.

Combos for Lunox

You can do a lot of combos with Lunox. But here in our Mobile Legends Lunox Guide, we mention these as our recommended skill combos

Skill 1 Combo

As Lunox’s basic attack is too low so I use this combo to clear minion waves and mainly poke the enemy.

Skill 1+Skill 2+ Skill 3+(repeat)

What you’re doing here is managing Lunox’s light and dark forms while dealing magical damage. Using skill 1 switches the meter to light, skill 2 shifts it to dark for targeted damage, and skill 3 brings in the area-of-effect damage. You keep cycling through these skills, dealing damage, and keeping up with the different forms.

Poking Combo

This combo is basically used to poke the enemy hiding inside a turret or to lure an enemy towards you.

Skill 1+ Skill 2+ Ultimate (light)+Skill 3+ Ultimate dark+ Spam Skill2

So here what you are doing is luring the enemy with your first skill and when he tries to attack use the light form ultimate to evade his attacks. So when he tries to get back use your dark ultimate and spam skill 2 to deal damage. You can also finish him off with skill 3 or you can use skill 3 to slow him first then spam skill 2 with dark ultimate.

Diving Combo

This combo is basically used when you are diving in to finish them off.

Ultimate Light+ Skill 2+ Skill3+ skill2+ Ultimate dark+ Skill3

Starting with the light form on full stacks (2), ultimate on the enemies giving continuous damage to them. After it ends use skill 2 immediately to provide extra damage, slow them with skill 3 and skill 2 again to shift to dark form. Use ultimate and spam skill 2. In the last use skill 3 to finish them off.

These three are the basic combos used with Lunox but note that there are tons of different combos you can do with Lunox.

Final Thoughts

Lunox is this amazing mage who can harness both light and dark powers, and she’s a real game-changer on the battlefield. Getting good with her is all about finding that balance between switching forms, dealing big magical damage, and being versatile in fights. The cool thing about her is how fast she can switch between being strong in offense and staying tough to survive. If you want to be great with Lunox, it’s all about practicing how you use her skills, finding ways to make the most out of her different abilities, and using her strong bursts of damage to really control fights. Once you’ve got the hang of her, Lunox becomes this powerhouse mage who can totally turn the tables and lead her team to victory.
