Skill Analysis

Nana is a hero with the common four skill sets of one passive and three actives. In this Nana guide, let’s see what are her abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of her.

Passive – Molina’s Gift (Death Immunity)

CD – 150.0

passive

This is Nana’s most unique passive, she is still alive when she takes deadly damage. Upon taking fatal damage, Nana removes all debuffs on her and transforms into a state where she can’t be targeted or damaged for 2 seconds. During this time, she also gains 30% Movement Speed and recovers 10% Max HP. She can only activate Molina’s Gift every 150 seconds, so be careful in engaging in fights.

Skill 1 – Magic Boomerang (AoE)

CD – 5.5

skill 1

Nana throws her Boomerang in the designated area, and as it travels out and back, it deals 320( +100% Total Magic Power) amount of magic damage. The first enemy takes full damage but the next one takes 20% less damage, up to 60%.

It’s perfect for poking enemies from a distance, especially during the laning phase. Aim carefully to hit as many targets as possible for maximum impact!

Skill 2 – Molina Smooch (CC, Summon)

CD – 14.5

skill 2

Nana summons Molina to the target location, dealing 250( +50% Total Magic Power) magic damage to enemies within the range and transforming enemy heroes hit into small animals.

However, if Molina misses, she’ll stay put and chase after the nearest enemy hero, transforming them upon contact. This transformation slows the target down by 30% and reduces their magic defense by 25% for 1.5 seconds. And while transformed, heroes can’t attack or use skills.

Skill 3 – Molina Blitz (Burst, CC)

CD – 36.0

skill 3

Nana unleashes a barrage of Area of Effect damage three times. Each hit slows enemies by 50% for 1 second while dealing 440( +160% Total Magic Power) magic damage. If enemies are hit in succession, they’ll be stunned for 1 second.

In a team fight, aim to use this skill to disable as many enemies as you can. Practice your timing, and match this skill with your second skill. This combo increases your chances of hitting multiple enemies.

Skill Up Methods for Nana

Unlock Skill 1 first and upgrade it to the max level. Upgrade your Skill 2 accordingly and the Ultimate whenever available. Skill 1 >> Ult >> Skill 2

Combinations to perform with Nana

First Combination

In the laning phase, try this combo: Set Molina Smooch near the minion wave to keep your opponent away. If they transform, hit them with Magic Boomerang and do a basic attack to hassle them and keep the pressure on. If your Ultimate is available, follow up with it for added impact.

Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Ult + AA

In the late game, try this combo to surprise squishy enemies: Begin with Molina Blitz to slow them down, then transform them with Molina Smooch. Hit them three times with your ult to stun them, and wrap up by using Magic Boomerang to deal damage and control the area.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Nana in Mobile Legends

When playing Nana in the mid-lane, I recommend using the Custom Mage emblem. This emblem selection for Nana in Mobile Legends can boost her magical powers and improve her overall performance throughout the match.

Custom Mage Emblem

When playing in the mid-lane, Nana does well with the Custom Mage emblem. This emblem boosts her Magic Power, Magic Penetration, and Cooldown Reduction, making her abilities more powerful and available more often. As for talents, I suggest employing Rupture and Wilderness Blessing for increased penetration and added movement speed in the jungle and river.

For the core talent, I suggest Lethal Ignition, as it provides Nana with additional burn damage on multiple hits, further enhancing her burst damage capabilities. However, if you want to read an in-depth emblem guide, check here.

Battle Spells

For the battle spell, I recommend Flicker or Flameshot. Flicker provides Nana with essential mobility for both offense and defense, allowing her to reposition swiftly. Meanwhile, Flameshot knocks back enemies and deals additional damage, disrupting enemies and helping secure kills. Choose the spell that best suits your playstyle and your team’s requirements.

Mobile Legends Nana Gameplay Tips

Nana is a very flexible hero, she can handle any lane. When you are the only mage in the team then go in the mid lane; it will help you to rotate faster in any lane. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Nana guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late games. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early Game

In the early game, focus on farming and harassing your opponents with your ranged attacks. Use Molina Smooch to zone out enemies and apply pressure in the lane, especially against melee opponents.

Coordinate with your team to secure kills when possible, but prioritize staying safe and maintaining a good farm. Remember to rotate to help secure objectives like buffs and jungle camps whenever possible.

Mid Game

As the game progresses, keep farming and roam to support your team. Use Molina Smooch and Molina Blitz to set up kills during fights. Place your second skill in a bush and after morphing do a surprise attack with your allies. Do not fall behind gold, building items are very important. Your duty is to help your damage dealer as support.

Building Necklace of Durance will spoil the enemy regen effect and try to build items according to the enemy team. Do whatever you want but always try to push turrets and rotate with your teammates. Providing vision is another important thing for Nana.

Late Game

In the late game, Nana’s crowd control is super important. Use Molina Blitz to kick off fights or protect your team, then follow up with Magic Boomerang for damage and control. Keep your carries safe and mess up the enemy’s position. Be careful not to get caught by enemies with strong crowd control because you’re quite fragile.

Build your items quickly so you can use two Molinas at once and poke enemies more often. Always keep an eye on your passive during turret dives; if it’s not ready, don’t play too aggressively.

Final Thoughts

Nana is an incredibly helpful hero, but enemies might target her to protect their damage dealer. Quickly use her second skill to stay safe and then push forward. With her annoying Molina Smooch skill, she can disrupt opponents effectively. Pairing her with a tank that can stun can dominate the early game.
