Mobile Legends Uranus Guide: Best Build, Emblem and Gameplay Tips

Hmm... Uranus has awakened!

Uranus, the Aethereal Defender, or the unofficial Floating HP Regen Fountain, is a tank-class hero usually used as an offlaner in Mobile Legends. This is because he’s a beast in clearing waves, has incredible sustain, and is equipped with a dash skill for escape but with no hard CC and initiating skill, which makes him not suit the pure tank role. Having Regen as his specialty, he is still impossible to kill when equipped with the right items. In the recent adjustments, Uranus got a buff after a very long time, not being so popular in the META. After the adjustments he became very popular even in the Professional Tournament matches. This guide will look at the best emblem, spell, build, and tips and tricks to pave your way to victory with Uranus in Mobile Legends.

We have previously discussed how to master playing with other Mobile Legends heroes like Miya, Ling, Wanwan, Pharsa, Carmilla, Silvanna, Atlas, Luo Yi, Yu Zhong, Aurora, Khaleed, Freya, Khufra, X.Borg, Tigreal, Hylos, Valir, Cecilion, Lylia, Hayabusa, Barats, Odette, Angela, Vale, Rafaela, Hanzo, Esmeralda, Brody, Lapu-Lapu, Nana, Benedetta, Hilda, Mathilda, Selena, Jawhead, Chou, Paquito, Thamuz, Lunox, Yi Sun-Shin, Yve, Gatotkaca, Karrie, Ruby, Beatrix, Gloo, Argus, Baxia, Granger, Phoveus, Hanabi, Alpha, Harley, Karina, Eudora, Natan, Dyrroth, Balmond, Aulus, Guinevere, Sun, Belerick, Floryn, Aamon, Valentina, Kagura, Saber, Leomord, Bruno Akai, Bane, Edith, Martis, Alucard, Gusion, Chang’e, Yin, Clint, Alice, Grock, Kadita, Popol and Kupa, Zilong, Minotaur, Helcurt, Cyclops, Lancelot, Kaja, Claude, Lolita, Melissa, Layla, Moskov, Irithel, Kimmy, Harith, Estes, Roger, Xavier, Gord, Franco, Minsitthar, Terizla, Masha, Johnson, Zhask, Fanny, Aldous, Diggie, Julian, Faramis, Vexana, Natalia, Fredrinn, Joy, Arlott, Ixia and Novaria. Skill Analysis

Uranus is a hero with the common four skill sets of one passive and three actives. In this Uranus guide, let’s see what are his abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of him.

Passive – Radiance(Heal)

Uranus absorbs the energy generated by attacks made against him to strengthen himself, regenerating 3-14 HP per second for each stack, over 10 seconds. This effect can be stacked up to 20 times

Skill 1 – Ionic Edge(AoE, Slow)

Uranus releases two energy blades that orbit around him, dealing 125–200 (+30% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemy targets and slowing them by 30% for 2 seconds.
Each time this skill deals damage to a target, the target will be marked with a stack that lasts 6 seconds[, up to 8 stacks]. Each stack increases the damage [of each energy blade] by 40% (to a maximum of 320%). Each energy blade can only deal damage to the same target once for each hit.

Uranus charges towards the targeted location, dealing 80–200 (+20% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies along the way, dealing 160–400 (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in this location and slowing them down by 25%. Meanwhile, Uranus generates an energy shield that absorbs up to 300–750 (+200% Total Magic Power) damage for 4 seconds.
The shield explodes when broken or at the end of its duration, dealing 300–750 (+150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies nearby.

Skill 3 – Consecration (Buff, Speed Up)

Uranus unleashes energy stored within his body to remove slow effects on himself and restore 200–400 HP immediately, while increasing Movement Speed by 60% for 8 seconds. (The speed gained decays over time.)
Uranus directly acquires 5-15 stacks of Radiance Radiance, increasing 20%-30% of his shield received and HP Regen for 8 seconds.

Skill-up method for Uranus

Unlock Uranus’s First Skill first and upgrade it alongside Skill 2 accordingly, and Ultimate whenever available. Skill 1 upgrade should be prioritized as it is Uranus’s main damage skill.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Uranus in Mobile Legends

Emblem Set

To make Uranus gameplay more effective in the Exp lane, players are expected to use the Custom Common Emblem for Hybrid Regen, HP and Adaptive Attack. Players can use whichever Talent suits them best for their gameplay. However, we’ve bought up some of the best Emblem/Talent Set-up that is advisable to be used for Uranus.

The Custom Common Emblem ever since its Revamp, provides players with access to 3 different talents. Hence, for the Uranus Emblem Setup, the following setup is expected of players:

  • In the First-tier Talent, we choose  Agility as it provides extra movement speed, primarily useful in Early game rotation to other lanes after a cut lane. Hybrid regen from the common emblem is very useful for Uranus as it gives a lot of mana and HP regen ability and helps Uranus stay longer on the battlefield.
  • In the Second tier Talent, players must pick Tenacity. This talent will increase Physical and Magic Defense by 15 when HP is below 50%. This talent is the most popular in tanky heroes and very effective for Uranus.
  • In the Third Tier Talent, players can pick Brave Smite as it restores 4% max HP after dealing damage to enemies with his skill. This talent will also help Uranus to survive when his health is very low.

Battle Spells

There are a number of spells that are suitable for Uranus and all are equally good for use. Some suggestions are to use Vengeance to receive less damage and return the damage to the opponent. Purify enables Uranus to use his 2nd skill and Ultimate at critical times. Execute helps to deal with the finishing blow as Uranus damage isn’t burst type. Even Flameshot can be used for pushing as CC and to inflict damage on enemies. Use the best spell depending on your playstyle.

Best Builds for Uranus in Mobile Legends

Uranus is a tanky hero with skill damage & health regen. His damage comes from the energy blades that orbit around him and give magic damage to the enemy. He is not a basic attacker. So it would be better to build defence items for sustainability and health regen items for his passive. We have created the following template in our guide to try out Uranus on the Mobile Legends battlefield.

Mobile Legends Uranus Best Builds

You can start building the Warrior boots while laning, but if the enemy laner deals magic damage, build Tough boots. For the second item, you can get Oracle, as it gives lots of H.P. and more sustain. For the third item, Dominance, Ice is a good option as it reaches mid-game; the enemy might have some healing heroes or lifesteal heroes. Dominance Ice will be a good item to cut healing effects or life-steal effects. For the fourth item, you can go for Brute Force Breastplate, as it will increase his movement speed when he casts a skill or does a basic attack, and physical, and magical defense will also increase. Then, if the enemy has more magic damage heroes like burst damage, build the Athena Shield to counter them, and to counter continuous magic damage, take Radiant Armor. Antique Cuirass will be a good item if the enemy has more physical damage dealers. For the last item, you can build Immortality to have a second chance of surviving.

Mobile Legends Uranus Gameplay Tips

Even though Uranus looks invincible, there are some aspects that should be taken into consideration to reach that moment. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Uranus guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late gameplay of Uranus.

Early game

Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 1 + Basic Attack

Despite being a tank-class hero, his defence is one of the lowest of all heroes at the first level in-game. Uranus is squishy without his core items due to insignificant regen from his passive. Retreat if facing two or more enemies and proceed with caution when facing one enemy. A smart Uranus knows how to engage and retreat.

Uranus is mostly played as the Exp or Offlaner of a team. Uranus can cut the enemy minions very easily in the early game because of his regen ability and roam around the map the disrupt enemy jungler’s farm.

Mid game

After getting his core items, engaging in team fights should not be a problem for Uranus. However, never initiate a team fight as he can be CC-ed and die easily if he gets targeted first. He can deal a good amount of damage over time after getting Enchanted Talisman because his cooldown is lower and he doesn’t have to worry about mana so be active in clearing waves and participate in team fights. Uranus is very good at engaging and disengaging. Use his passive stack to take damage from the enemies and poke them then retreat for a while to regen some health.

Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Skill 2

Late game

When it comes to catching enemies off guard, Uranus is an excellent bait. His arsenal of items makes him almost unkillable in most scenarios. Still, it’s important to remain wary of enemy marksmen who can deal high damage over time, especially in the late game. During team fights, it’s a good idea to use his second skill to invade the backline and scramble the positions of the enemy marksman and mage. With your teammates focusing on tanks and fighters, you can keep the enemy team on their toes and make it easier for your allies to secure the win.

Generally, Uranus is good against heroes that deal damage over time means that he can regenerate more HP while getting attacked. It’s also almost impossible to kill Uranus with a single combo. His weakness is anti-heal, burst damage, and CC. If he’s hit with a CC skill, he can’t do much to save himself.
