ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest is an official adaption of the famous Japanese anime series ONE PUNCH MAN in an RPG video game format, made by developers FingerFun Limited. Be the superhero and keep the Earth and its citizens safe and protected from monsters and villains. Bringing in the original voiceover casts, One Punch Man fans and new players will experience the story in-game. Combat basics of ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest
Quickly become one of the strongest in ONE PUNCH MAN by knowing the game’s battle system well. It is an RPG turn-based game and you’ll get to build your own team of up to six characters upon reaching level 26. The game’s battle mode is easy to understand as the game instructs the players while progressing in the game. Each character placed in battle has two moves, one is a basic attack and the other is Ultimate Skill. For the latter, it will need energy that you can collect from filling the gauge. Ultimates differ per character. Some character’s Ultimate may be an AoE line attack, a single attack, or even heal.
Moving through battles may be easy, especially with the Auto function but what if it doesn’t work anymore? In this section, we’ll tell you how to upgrade your characters, perk basics, and basic cores in-game.
Upgrading your character
During one of the game’s cut scenes, Saitama will teach you the basics of upgrading your character. Aside from using the characters in battle and quests, you can also use EXP soda cans and bottles. Upon reaching the character’s max, you will need to evolve and this will require additional items called medals and qualifications. These items are different per character and are available through farming and in the mall’s random merchandise.
Unlocking character perks
What are Character Perks? These perks are like the character’s additional passive skills. Each character has different perks. In One Punch Man: The Strongest, think of it like the hero or villain’s preferred teammate. The question is, how to unlock them?
You can unlock some of these perks by recruiting characters. For example, Genos has six perks. One perk involves the free hero, Mumen Rider, plus two other characters Deep Sea King and Speed-o’-Sound. This perk is “Battle in the Rain” and gives him a passive ATK +10%. Another type of perk requires you to ascend Genos Core to 1 star.

In this ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest beginner’s guide, we’ll tell you about Cores and how important it is in building your line up.
Genos is everybody’s first character aside from Triple-Staff Lilly. For Genos, he has Justice Power. Having him, Triple-Staff Lilly and Mumen Rider in your lineup activate the Basic Effect.
Take note that basic and advanced effects of Cores can stack and you can max it until Advance Effect Level 17. This basic Core gives the team additional energy to do ultimate skills.
- Basic Effect: It gives an additional 2 energy for ultimate skills.
- Advanced Effect: Increases ally ATK by 10%.
Upon advancing in the game and unlocking the Laboratory, you can further enhance your character’s core up to level 20. Using Research Evolution from the lab, it can increase your team’s power and all of the bonuses are stackable.
As of this writing, there are six available characters that can influence your lineup and add a buff to the team. A mixture of heroes and villains, the Core owners are Genos, Child Emperor, Amai Mask, Deep Sea King, Mosquito Girl, and Doctor Genus.
Gacha pull in ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest
This game runs in a gacha mechanic. You can get new characters and get those character perks from getting new heroes or villains. You can get ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest free gacha pull from completing stories, events, and login rewards.
There are two types of pulls, the elite recruit, and epic recruit. Epic Recruit costs 1 epic voucher per pull with no discount. Elite Recruit, on the other hand, also costs 1 elite voucher per pull and gives you 10 pulls for 8 vouchers. Save your Elite Vouchers if you can or at least save them until you have eight.
ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest Basic Tier List
Once you’re ready to pull your newest characters, it is important to know if he or she is worth keeping or not. There are four available rarities in the game and these are N, R, SR, and SSR. If you’re going to use the Epic Recruit your chances are N – 50%, R – 43%, SR – 6.5%, and SSR at 0.5%. Elite Recruit has higher SSR chances at 1.3%, SR at 10%, and R at 88.7%. It is highly recommended to save at least 8 Elite Vouchers before pulling.

- You can easily get free stamina from the game by adding friends. Friends send each other Stamina. You’ll receive 1 stamina per friend and the maximum is 50.
- You’ll also receive Daily Lucky Bag in the mall. The game also hosts events that give players free badges, EXP, coins, and even shards. One event will also give you rewards just by staying online in the game for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes in a day.
