The jump in popularity of the game that needs no introduction, Among Us, has led to a number of themed decorations based on the indie title. With Halloween lurking around the corner, fans have taken to social media to showcase their creations.
Among Us pumpkin carvings
A good number of these self-made decorations have been based around the in-game characters, that is the crewmates/imposters. A popular trend that’s going around is pumpkin carvings of these characters, with some even carving them out on watermelons. An especially cool-looking carving, by Reddit user jrmclau, features the imposter performing a kill on one of the crewmates.

But that’s not all in the line of Halloween. While plans for trick-or-treating for many may be out the window, the spirit of dressing up in costumes still remains. Instagram user peachieteas got together with some friends and took on the look of the many-coloured astronauts, along with some of the in-game cosmetics that can be displayed on characters. With Yellow, Pink, White, and Black posing in the photo, peachieteas gave her thanks to a fellow Instagram user and cosplayer, thredcountt, who sewed the costumes together.
With every high budget costume comes the ideas for folks looking for something less time-consuming. Although, I must say the ones I’ve seen over on Instagram by lowcostcosplayth and Reddit user, Folepeek, look pretty accurate
Among Us cookie cutter
Of course, no festivity is complete without cookies. A site dedicated towards releasing blueprints that can be used with 3-d printers, user TeamOliva came up with a set of blueprints for cookie cutters in the shape of the familiar astronauts. Many have even started selling these cookie cutters on Etsy.
If you’re still looking for inspiration for this Halloween, taking a page from these fellow gamers doesn’t seem like a bad idea at all. You’ll be looking “pretty sus” quite literally.
