COD Mobile Halloween Update 2020: Everything you need to know

Bring out the Undead as they rise again!

Call of Duty Mobile Season 11, named The Anniversary update has arrived in the game a few days back. This season has introduced some new components in the game. The Arsenal, The Club, and the brand new Battle Royale map, Alcatraz, have all arrived in the game. But it seems there’s something more stored in the pipeline for players. The COD Mobile Halloween update has arrived and with that, the Anniversary Season just got more sinister. Activision released a tonne of content for players to enjoy, from Halloween events to a new weapon, and much more. Here are the details on the COD Mobile Halloween Update 2020, including the key rewards you’ll earn from playing new horror-themed playlists.

Battle Royale Featured Event: Undead Fog

COD Mobile Halloween Update

From October 29 through November 4, both Isolated, and Alcatraz will become shrouded in heavy fog concealing hordes of zombies. In addition to usual zombie areas, the encroaching fog allows zombies to rise in all zones on every map.

The influx of zombies will help you complete a brand-new set of challenges based on the Undead Fog event. Here you can earn rewards like wingsuit and motorcycle camos along with the Epic Devil’s Horns Calling Card for completing 10 Battle Royale tasks. Don’t forget to check those Mystery Boxes for some high-value and randomized items!

Halloween Standoff, Attack of the Undead return for a Limited Time

COD Mobile Halloween Update

An anniversary season and a Halloween event create the perfect mix for the return of COD Mobile’s first themed map: Halloween Standoff.

This map is the classic Standoff map set under the light of a full moon. With plenty of haunted jack-o-lanterns and other terrifying treats, Halloween Standoff is available both in a variety of modes and within its own featured playlist’

You can play the following Match-modes in the Halloween Standoff map.

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Hardpoint
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Cranked
  • Attack of the Undead

The Attack of the Undead mode that made its debut in Radioactive Agent will also return as part of the Halloween festivities. Here, one player out of ten is randomly turned undead at the start of the match. So the nine remaining survivors must run down the clock before they are downed and recruited into the undead ranks.

10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed throughout the COD Mobile Halloween Update

The spooky updates to Multiplayer don’t stop at Halloween Standoff and Attack of the Undead. From now through October 31st, Kill Confirmed will receive an expansion with 10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed.

As for 10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed, it trades dog tags out for pumpkins and expands the lobby size to 20 players. This brings a bit of creepy chaos to Kill Confirmed.

There is also a featured event with tasks based on the 10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed and the Halloween Standoff playlists. By completing this event, you can earn several rewards including the epic Pumpkin Smile weapon charm, the rare Jack O’ Lantern weapon blueprint for the DL Q33, and MSMC, the rare Deadlocks sticker, and more.

These rewards, as well as 10v10 Pumpkin Confirmed, Halloween Standoff, and Attack of the Undead will only be available from October 29, 2020 through October 31, 2020.

New Halloween themed Lucky Draws are available for a limited time!

The Halloween event also features three Lucky Draws available for a limited time. Along with the Halloween Redux Draw, which marks the return of the Legendary AK-47 Pumpkin Head weapon blueprint, the Thorned Rose Draw is still blooming with a bloody good sniper rifle blueprint and operator skin. On October 29, the Wicked Trickster Draw rounds out a terrifying and terrific trio of draws, bringing some wickedly great items to further bolster your arsenal.

With plenty to fear and to cheer, there’s no better time to drop into Call of Duty Mobile and experience all the frights and fights for yourself.
