Fall Guys: Bilibili gets Publishing Rights for the Mobile version in China

It's time to experience Fall Guys on mobile devices

Multiplayer battle royale Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has become a hit since its release earlier this month on PC. Developed by British video game developer Mediatonic Limited, the game is said to be inspired by game shows like Takeshi’s Castle. After a lot of people asked about its release on mobile devices, Mediatonic confirmed that they aren’t going for it at the moment. But, Niko Partners Senior Analyst, Daniel Ahmad reports that the Chinese live-streaming platform Bilibili has secured the publishing rights for a mobile version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in China.

When you visit the official website of Bilibili, the English translation mentions the game as Jelly Bean: Ultimate Knockout Mobile Game. That means the mobile version of the battle Royale is going to change but no official statement has come from the developer.

Since its launch of August 4, 2020, on PC and PS4, Fall Guys has been a huge hit, and had over 1.5 million players in the first 24 hours!

We are anticipating that the game is likely to come to mobile devices before Xbox One after Bilibili gets publishing rights of Fall Guys. The developer seems to be working on the feedback received from the players. But as of now, the news is only about China and nothing can be said about its global release either on Android or iOS.

About Bilibili

Bilibili is a Chinese video-sharing website based out of Shanghai. It also owns various professional esports teams. Earlier this year, the PlayStation maker Sony bought a 5% stake in the video and mobile game company for $400 million.

Earlier this month, Bilibili secured exclusive Chinese Broadcasting Rights to the International League of Legends Championships.

We are excited to reach this strategic partnership with Riot Games. Throughout the past decade, we have witnessed the development of the eSports industry from a niche market to a mainstream one that is now one of the most popular sports among young people in China. The number of views of eSports videos on Bilibili reached 44 billion in 2019. Bilibili will take this opportunity and help Shanghai build its leadership position in the global eSports industry
