The AI-powered mobile esports platform game.tv has announced a new campaign #GrowingStronger in India, this International Women’s Day. This campaign is signifying the growing female mobile gaming segment in India. The company has launched a special season of the Divas Scrim Wars tournament with a ₹50k prize pool. They are looking to amplify participation from Indian female gamers along with hosting a virtual women-only panel discussion. Some of the biggest names in the esports gaming space will be a part of this. The mobile esports platform has also scheduled casting auditions for female gamers and streamers for its upcoming season. The power-packed Women’s week is one step towards the company’s commitment to cater to the growing female gamers in India.

India has a vast pool of talented female gamers, casters who are waiting for a platform to help them spread their wings into the world of esports and mobile gaming. Divas Scrim Wars is one of many unique community-based tournaments by game.tv. This tournament was created with the sole purpose of engaging and empowering the growing female gaming community in India. Divas Scrim Wars is currently in its 32nd Season. Entries for the tournament have begun with the Women’s Day special finale scheduled for March 8th, 2021.

We are happy to work with game.tv who has constantly supported the female gaming segment and this Women’s Day is no exception. Giving women a larger platform to discuss the future of our industry while being a part of it and earn from it is something that will only help the segment grow. We hope to see many such initiatives in the future that will help us create our mark in the Indian esports industry.

Apart from the Divas Scrim Wars, game.tv also plans to host a special women-only panel discussion on a YouTube live stream on March 6th, 2021. Here they will be talking about ‘Women in Gaming: Growing Stronger’. This panel discussion features top female gamers including Soneeta. She is Nepal’s leading Free Fire content creator with 3.8 million subscribers on YouTube. Winners of the prize pool will be announced on March 9th. Casting registrations will be open from March 4th, 2021. Aspiring female gaming commentators can take a shot at making their dreams a reality. Winners of this audition will be announced on March 7th, 2021.
