One unforgettable night wasn’t enough, so we’re heading back to Bangkok! After a landmark debut as a live event last year, the GamingonPhone Awards are making their way back to Bangkok, Thailand, for an even bigger celebration in 2026 while also streaming live for fans worldwide.
The sixth edition of the Awards will culminate on October 28, 2026, once again bringing together game developers, publishers, creators, partners, and industry professionals from across the globe.
Starting today, nominations for the 6th edition of GamingonPhone Awards 2026 are officially open, allowing developers, publishers, service providers, creators, and fans to spotlight the very best the mobile gaming industry has delivered over the eligibility period.
Over the years, the GamingonPhone Awards have grown into more than an annual ceremony. We have become a platform that celebrates creativity, recognizes excellence, and connects the global mobile gaming community. With participants and audiences spanning more than 150 countries, the Awards continue to shine a spotlight on the people and projects shaping the future of mobile gaming.

Due to the overwhelming response over the weekend, we are extending the nomination period for the 6th GamingonPhone Awards by two more days. This will give everyone in the community more time to nominate their favourite teams, games, and studios. The new and final deadline is midnight (GMT+5:30) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Looking back at the 2025 Edition
The 2025 GamingonPhone Awards were a special one for us. After four successful online editions, we finally brought the Awards to the stage with our first-ever in-person ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand. The fifth edition was a grand evening that welcomed developers, publishers, creators, partners, and industry leaders from across the globe, giving the mobile gaming community a chance to celebrate together under one roof for the very first time.
Beyond the trophies, the event became a place where new connections were made, familiar faces finally met in person, awards were celebrated, and photos were clicked as conversations about the future of mobile gaming were the highlight. The overwhelming response from attendees and social media showed us that the GamingonPhone Awards had grown into something much bigger than an annual awards show.
The numbers from the 2025 edition reflected that growth in every way. The GamingonPhone Awards reached 18M+ impressions across platforms and recorded 620K+ community votes, making it our most engaging edition to date.
With 6,423 nominations received, 244 finalists shortlisted across 30 award categories (12 B2B and 18 B2C), and the expertise of 107 industry jurors, the awards continued to grow in both scale and credibility.
That momentum is exactly what we’re carrying into 2026. As we return to Bangkok, we’re looking forward to an even bigger celebration, more meaningful conversations, and another opportunity to recognize the people and games pushing the industry forward.
What’s new and changing in the 6th edition of GamingonPhone Awards 2026
The Mobile Premiere (TMP) 2026 debuts
This year, we’re taking things a step further. Alongside the 6th edition of GamingonPhone Awards, we’ll also debut The Mobile Premiere (TMP), our brand-new global showcase dedicated entirely to mobile gaming.
Designed as the world’s first physical showcase focused exclusively on mobile titles, TMP 2026 will give developers and publishers a stage to unveil new games, reveal major updates, showcase gameplay, and share what’s next with a worldwide audience. Together, The Mobile Premiere and the GamingonPhone Awards will make Bangkok the home of one of mobile gaming’s biggest celebrations this October.
Streamlined list of Categories
On the awards side, the total number of categories has been streamlined from 30 to 28, with a couple of adjustments made to ensure consistency across the Awards. As always, both B2C and B2B awards will continue to recognize excellence across every aspect of the mobile gaming industry.
The GamingonPhone Awards 2026 continue the three-way voting system, with the Jury Panel accounting for 50% of the final score, the public contributing 40%, and the GamingonPhone Editorial Team making up the remaining 10%.
The GamingonPhone Awards 2026 Process
The journey to the GamingonPhone Awards 2026 will once again unfold in four stages, beginning with nominations and culminating in the Grand Finale in Bangkok on October 28, 2026.
Stage 1: Nominations (July 21 – August 12, 2026)
Studios, publishers, service providers, agencies, creators, and members of the community can submit nominations through the official nomination form. Multiple entries are welcome across all eligible categories.
Stage 2: Shortlisting (August 13 – August 20, 2026)
Once nominations close, the GamingonPhone Editorial Team will carefully review every submission and prepare the shortlist for each of the 28 award categories before voting begins.
Stage 3: Voting (August 21 – September 21, 2026)
Voting opens on August 21, with the final winners determined through our three-way voting system. The Jury Panel contributes 50% of the final score, public voting accounts for 40%, and the GamingonPhone Editorial Team makes up the remaining 10%.
Stage 4: Grand Finale (October 28, 2026)
The winners of the sixth edition GamingonPhone Awards 2026 will be announced during the live Grand Finale in Bangkok, Thailand, celebrating the very best of the global mobile gaming industry alongside The Mobile Premiere’s first edition.
GamingonPhone Awards 2026 Categories
As mentioned earlier, we have a total of 28 categories for the 6th edition of the GamingonPhone Awards 2026, divided into 12 B2B and 16 B2C categories, respectively. Based on the number of nominations, we’ll shortlist the finalists, and the winners will be chosen after the voting process by the Jury, the Public, and the GamingonPhone editorial team.
Note: For the GamingonPhone Awards 2026, the eligibility period covers August 1, 2025, through July 31, 2026. Any references to “2026” throughout the Awards will correspond to this nomination window.

- Mobile Game Of The Year: Awarded to the best mobile game released in 2026. This is our highest honor, recognizing the title that set the benchmark for quality, innovation, and overall player experience.
- On-going Mobile Game Of The Year: Great games don’t stop after launch. This award recognizes the mobile game that continued to thrive through consistent updates and strong community support, regardless of its release year.
- Premium Mobile Game Of The Year: Awarded to the finest premium mobile game launched in 2026. It recognizes the exceptional paid experience that proved that premium mobile gaming continues to thrive.
- Innovative Mobile Game Of The Year: Recognizing the mobile game released in 2026 that pushed the boundaries with fresh ideas and unique gameplay. Celebrating creativity that challenged conventions and redefined what’s possible on mobile.
- Mobile Game Community Of The Year: Honoring the most passionate and engaged mobile gaming community, irrespective of the game’s launch year. It celebrates the players whose enthusiasm, creativity, and support helped shape the game’s success.
- Mobile Subscription Game Of The Year: Celebrating the best mobile game available through a subscription gaming service in 2026. This award recognizes titles that delivered outstanding value while elevating the gaming experience.
- Mobile Game Visual Design Of The Year: Awarded to the mobile game that showcased the most outstanding visual artistry and design in 2026. From stunning worlds to memorable characters, this category celebrates excellence in visual storytelling.
- Mobile Game Audio Design Of The Year: Celebrating the mobile game that delivered the most immersive and outstanding audio experience in 2026. It recognizes exceptional music, sound effects, and audio direction that brought every moment to life.
- Mobile Game Adaptation Of The Year: Awarded to the best mobile adaptation released in 2026, whether based on a movie, TV series, anime, comic, or another game. This award celebrates adaptations that successfully transformed beloved IPs into outstanding mobile experiences.
- Most Anticipated Game Of The Year: Recognizing the upcoming mobile game that created the biggest buzz among players. It celebrates the title that captured the community’s imagination long before its official launch.
- Players’ Choice Mobile Game Of The Year: Voted entirely by the community, this award celebrates players’ favorite mobile game released in 2026. The winner is decided solely by you; no jury panels or industry votes.
- Mobile Game Voice Acting Of The Year: Honoring the most outstanding voice performances in a mobile game released during 2026. This award recognizes performances that gave characters depth, personality, and unforgettable moments.
- Indie Mobile Game Of The Year: Celebrating the best indie mobile game released in 2026. It shines a spotlight on independent studios that proved great ideas can come from teams of any size.

GamingonPhone Awards 2026 nominations are now open!
Nominations are officially open and can be submitted by game studios, publishers, agencies, service providers, content creators, or individual community members. To nominate, complete the nomination form and include a brief description (100–200 words) explaining why your game, product, service, or team deserves recognition.
Adding supporting materials such as trailers, screenshots, gameplay videos, reviews, or other relevant assets is highly recommended, as they help the Jury Panel evaluate each nomination more effectively.
