First announced in April, Grand Alliance, the anime-inspired action RPG is now out for grabs on both Android and iOS. Grand Alliance marks the first attempt from Crunchyroll games at an original IP, which was created in a partnership with Gaudium and Viz Media.
Grand Alliance Gameplay
The game follows Amelia, the sole surviving princess of a fallen empire. After the assassination of her family, the empire was torn apart.
Now it is up to her to bring balance and reunite it once and for all. As this is an anime RPG video game, you’ll have to battle large hordes of enemies in real-time combat.
The Publishing of Grand Alliance represents a new step for Crunchyroll Games, as this is our first title not based on existing IP or known storyline. As part of this experimental foray, we have created a rich, compelling world with VIZ Media and Gaudium and we can’t wait for new fans to start exploring.

Create a team of squad base players with over 30 skills to choose from
Grand Alliance brings a promising squad-based feature into the game. So players get to put together a team of three heroes with a variety of skills at their disposal.
Moreover, there are more than 30 skills for players to choose from. They are divided into different classes such as Skirmisher, Warrior, Mage, and Gunner.
Cool rewards awaiting for Pre-registered players
The game received more than 90,000 pre-registrations from players earlier. Now, these players will receive the following in-game rewards as soon as they log into the game.
- 25,000 Gold
- 25 of each Class emblem
- 1,250 Free gems
- Tier 5 skill Gravity bomb
- First hero – Clarissa
Conversely, there is going to be a seven-day event that will give players another character known as Daisy.
