Nier Reincarnation is a highly-acclaimed RPG, which is set in the hollow Nier and Drakengard universe. The game was released months ago in Japan. Ever since its release, it was only playable in the Chinese language. But there’s the news of a brand new update of a possible English (global) release of Nier Reincarnation, which would allow players to enjoy the game in English. You can now pre-register for the same either on Google Play or on their official website.
Pre-registrations for global release to begin soon
According to the game developers, Nier Reincarnation is getting ready for a Westen launch as they’ve completed work on the game’s localization process. The Pre-registration program will kick off sooner rather than later in the coming months. The good news has come from the game’s official Twitter handle, where director Daichi Matsukawa has made the announcement. He has further thanked the faithful players for being patient.
The director has further advised players to exercise more patience as the team is working diligently to bring the global version of Nier Reincarnation. This release will be intended for eager fans in regions such as Europe and North America. They’re currently making final adjustments to the upcoming pre-registration.
NieR Reincarnation global version might accompany a new interesting storyline
Daichi Matsukawa acts as a sole director on the Nier Reincarnation project alongside Yoko Taro, who is the series creator and contributes to the game’s development. Nier Reincarnation will feature a whole new different and unique battle system than other games in its category. As a further note, it uses the gacha mechanic as well.
The game also aims to retain the melancholy storytelling for which Taro is best known for. As usual, details on the whereabouts of the new game and its place in the Nier universe timeline are being kept under wraps at this time. NieR Re[in]carnation is a Square Enix game, which has been developed by Applibot. It is currently featuring designs by CyDesignation and music by Keiichi Okabe (NieR).
The Japanese version is still playable
With the announcement made by the director on Twitter, we can hopefully get a global release date soon. If you’d like to get your hands on the game right now, you can check out the Japanese version on Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS here in Japan. In the meantime, you could also enjoy the upgraded Nier Replicant on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. It does well to retains the story of the original 2010 version, adding a fifth ending and an additional story thread to the main questline.
