The fall season is already knocking on the door, and so is the spooky season in PUBG Mobile. The 4.6 version update of PUBG Mobile is already here, where urban areas have fallen under vampire control, becoming unfamiliar and eerie. As you can already guess, the whole update is based on the upcoming fall season and the Halloween festival.
Many supernatural items, unearthly creatures, and dark forces have entered the battlegrounds to throw a challenge which is never been seen before. In this article, I will take you through the entire 4.6 version update of PUBG Mobile and talk about all the new features.
PUBG Mobile 4.6 Version Update: Midnight Hunters Themed Mode
The main attraction of this new update is the all-new classic-themed mode named the Midnight Hunters. If you remember last year’s Halloween Update of PUBG Mobile, a similar kind of gameplay is being offered in this themed mode.
The main event location is the Hunters Guild Building, which supports humanity in the fight against the vampires in various ways. We have a total of two Hunter Guilds in Erangel, situated at Stalber and Sosnovka Island.
One of the most interesting and unique features of this location is the Guild Chief named the Nightkeeper. It is an NPC character whom you can chat with or challenge to a battle to become the ultimate hunter.
There are many interactive elements in the building that will give you various rewards and loot. You will also find Scream Crates scattered around the map, where you will have to solve puzzles to open the crates and get the rewards. Note that one will get free recall in all the Hunter Guilds.
Vampire Territory
On the Erangel map, Mylta, Rozhok, Gatka, and Quarry have become the Vampire Territory. The Vampire Statues in these locations, and the Bloodwalkers, Nightbat, and Vampire Elders can deal severe damage to you and your whole squad.
You can also get advanced supplies by defeating these creatures. You can also accept the Bloodrose Hunt missions from the Nightkeeper. During this mission, you will have to defeat a mutated vampire that is growing stronger in one of the Vampire Territories before it fully evolves.
Seal the Vampire Leader
You can also activate the sealing device in the Vampire Chapel to carry out the Seal the Vampire Leader mission. By completing these missions, you can earn bounties from the guild and purchase powerful guild items that can give you an upper hand in the battlegrounds.
PUBG Mobile 4.6 Version Update: Magical Items and Powers
Just like the previous themed modes, we have got several Magical Items this time too. Let’s take a quick look.
Silvermoon Chain
The first item is the Silvermoon Chain. You can use this to move from one place to another. You can use its hook to climb a steep building. The most interesting feature of this item is that you can block your enemy’s bullets with it. You can also instantly eliminate low-level vampires and break the shields of elite vampires with the Silvermoon Chain.
Twilight Bat Wings
The Twilight Bat Wings let you activate your Bat form in the battlegrounds. Use the blink feature to perform a short dash, and control your flight trajectory to move flexibly through complex terrain. It also has a feature called the Sonic Wave. You can use it to detect hidden enemies and deal mild damage to them.
Blood Pact
You can forge a blood connection with teammates using the Blood Pact, which is arguably the most interesting item of the Midnight Hunters Themed Mode.
By sacrificing health, you can both recall teammates in danger and restore their health. Remember that your enemies can’t see the connection, and you have to be within a radius of 50 meters of your connected teammate to activate it.
Apart from these items, there are a few more items, such as the Blood Crystal Barrier, Hunter Bandage, and Rose Elixir, that can become really useful during the fight against enemies and vampires.
Classic Mode Adjustments
In addition to the themed mode, more classic mode updates have come in the PUBG Mobile 4.6 Version Update.
New Vehicle: Inflatable Boat
The latest vehicle to be added to the game is the Inflatable Boat. You can carry it in your backpack and use it when you need it the most. Remember that it has very low hit points, and it will be destroyed with a very small number of bullets.
Channel Buoys
The playzone is formed on the water, and no playable land is available. Don’t worry, as the channel buoy is here. You can use it to stay above the water and fight against your enemies. It also has metal covers that will protect you from gunfire.
Apart from these additions, you will see better firearm handling, an improved supply shop update, new vehicles in the garage, and other features.
