Finally, there is a ray of hope for the PUBG Mobile players in India of getting to play their favourite game in the country legally as the company has successfully registered themselves with the Indian Government as PUBG Mobile India Pvt. Ltd. The rumours are slowly turning into reality as they are making a comeback after the game was banned along with 117 other apps in September.
Since the ban, PUBG Corp. has been trying hard to enter the Indian gaming sector. During this process, they cut off ties with Tencent as the publishing partner of the game in India.
About the PUBG Mobile India company registration
According to the reports, Kumar Krishnan Iyer and Hyunil Sohn will be the directors of the PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. Earlier, Hyunil Sohn was the Head Of Corporate Development at KRAFTON Inc. / PUBG Corporation. The headquarters are based in Karnataka.
Though there is an official announcement of the comeback, the company has not announced any specific date about the release. Also, the game is available for pre-registration on the Third-Party App store TapTap. There are numerous rumors regarding the release of the game but they can’t be labeled as a legit source. In addition to that, the company is focussing on the Indian Market. They will be hiring 100 employees in the field of business, game development, and esports. Krafton Inc. the parent company has also planned to invest $100 Million in the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries.
This particular version of PUBG Mobile will have enhanced security and privacy. There will be a frequent audit of the personal information storage server. It will also feature restrictions on game time to promote healthy gameplay habits among young players. Mainly, this version addresses all the privacy issues which it had before the ban. PUBG Corp. partnered up with Azure to move all users’ data to the Microsoft cloud platform as a security measure.
Apart from these, there was also a download link for the APK file of PUBG Mobile India spotted on the official website for a couple of hours. Although, many players faced difficulties in getting their hands on it.PUBG Mobile India is already creating hype among the players.
