PUBG Mobile set to partner with the global character brand LINE FRIENDS

Number of events set to appear in-game!

PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is set to partner with one of the world’s fastest-growing global character brands, LINE FRIENDS. The partnership would introduce the famous characters of LINE FRIENDS into the game, allowing players to earn limited-time themed items. Starting from June 18th to the date of July 14th, 2021 players are set to have 4 weeks of themed events, content, and challenges. Get ready to jump into the exciting content brought about by the collaboration of the two popular entertainment universes.

PUBG Mobile x LINE FRIENDS Collaboration

LINE FRIENDS, one of the leading global character brands, had initially begun from the BROWN & FRIENDS characters. These characters were created for use as stickers for a leading mobile messenger app known as LINE. The iconic characters of Brown, Cony and Sally are set to enter the PUBG Mobile universe.

‘Play With Your Friends’ In-game Event

Come and give likes’ event (Phase 1): There will be multiple timed events that will run starting from the 18th of June, 2021. The first event will require players to provide likes to outfits that are displayed in the virtual shop window. On logging in to the game, players will receive these items regularly. Players who have been putting in likes consistently will receive the time-limited LINE FRIENDS themed outfit ‘CONY Set’ on the 22nd of June, 2021.

Afternoon Tea Decoration event (Phase 2): The second phase of the event will begin on the 23rd of June, 2021. Players have to complete daily missions to receive the Afternoon Tea items. Players will be entitled to receive the time-limited Dino BROWN Backpack (Level 3) after collecting enough Afternoon Tea items.

#FRIENDSQUAD Community challenge

An exciting community event is set to arrive at the game on the 20th of June, 2021. Participants will get a chance to obtain special exclusive LINE FRIENDS items. A chance not to be missed for sure!


A global character brand, LINE FRIENDS had started off from creating stickers for the leading mobile messenger app of LINE. With more than 200 million active users at the moment, LINE FRIENDS have emerged as a global creative studio. With a vast array of content that has Intellectual Property (IP)s, they have created ‘BT21’ along with the global boy band BTS. Starting with Supercell‘s Brawl Stars and the collaboration between KartRider Rush+ have seen LINE FRIENDS taking a step in the gaming industry. A collaboration with PUBG Mobile, one of the biggest mobile gaming hits in the 21st century, will be huge for them.
