Feral Interactive recently announced that the XCOM 2 Collection is coming to iOS devices; the iPad and iPhone on 5th November. XCOM 2Â is a 2016Â turn-based tactics RPGÂ that was first launched for Console and PC platforms, then was recently ported to pocket consoles too, will see a full-fledged release as a mobile game.
Gameplay Overview
In XCOM 2, the player-character is the commander of the XCOM military organization that is now reduced to a resistance force opposing the ongoing alien occupation of Earth.
With Earth under a crushing Alien rule, the forces of XCOM are united to create a global resistance against the new order. Here, you will be tasked to bring down the alien regime, and reclaiming the planet by restoring humanity.
Compatibility and Device Requirements to run XCOM 2
The XCOM 2 Collection is supported on the iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, and any iPhone released since the iPhone X. The list of compatible iPhone devices are as follows:

- iPhone 11 Pro

However, the users should have iOS 13.1 or better version update on their iOS devices to install XCOM 2.
When will XCOM 2 Release
The game will be available completely optimized for iOS devices on the 5th of November, 2020 as a premium port. It comes with a user-interface tailored specifically for touchscreen gameplay. As far the pricing is concerned, XCOM 2 Collection for iOS devices will deliver the full experience of XCOM 2: War of the Chosen for £23.99 / $24.99 / €27.99, with four DLC packs in a single package. However, it comes with no in-app purchases.
Future Android release of XCOM 2

“Yes, we are planning on releasing XCOM 2 Collection for Android next year and will have more to announce in due course.“
