The game was a hit due to the uniqueness of the gameplay despite being a card game

But KONAMI recently made an official announcement on their website regarding the shut down of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel.

No specified reason was given by the developers regarding why they will be ending the services.

KONAMI released a detailed schedule for the shut down of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel

1. April 4 at 5:00 [UTC], 2023: New “Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS” Single Player Event and cards

2. April 5 at 5:00 [UTC], 2023: Refund Process for unused Crystals Open

3. April 13 at 5:00 [UTC], 2023: New Raid Event and cards

4. September 4 at 5:00 [UTC], 2023: End of Service

With the news of the Shutdown being scheduled, it will be interesting to see what next would be on the list for the series
