What is The Swords of Ditto?
In The Swords of Ditto, you have 4 days to save the world. If you fail, the world you leave behind, for the next wielder of the sword, will be an awful place. If you succeed, the townspeople will speak of your greatness, setting a high bar for the next hero. The game is very beautiful, and as I have mentioned before it looks very similar to the popular TV show Adventure Time. It is full of puzzles, dungeons, and surprises.
Is it any good?
I am not going to do a full review of the game, you’ll find plenty of those from the other versions. So let me just tell you this will be an amazing mobile game. My biggest concern for the mobile release is how fast and tight the movements are on the pc and console version of the game. I am not sure they can pull that off on mobile. Still, I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find any rogue-likes this good on mobile. The game is deeper than it appears and has a lot to offer. The puzzles in the game are pretty shallow, but it makes up for its shortcomings by being a very love-able rogue-like that I think you will love.
The release details
The game is expected to release October 24th, with a price of $5.99. This is a great price considering the cost of the game on other platforms. I can’t picture there being any in-app purchases for this release, which is another great reason to buy it. You can preorder on Apple, or pre-register on Google play already, so get to it!
