Bandai Namco Entertainment has made the official announcement that the Tales of Luminaria: The Fateful Crossroad will be released on January 20th, 2022. It is an adaptation of the most recent title in the popular RPG Tales of Luminaria series. Bandai Namco Entertainment, Inc. has released the opening 10 minutes of the anime ahead of its full release on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and other streaming platforms.
This fascinating tale will be made into a full-length, high-quality, CG-animated feature film, bound together from the journeys of 21 protagonists! A story will be told that can only be seen here, thanks to the remarkable genius of Kamikaze Douga.
Story behind Tales of Luminaria: The Fateful Crossroad Animation
Long ago, Luminaria was home to mountain-sized animals. Mana poured forth from their ashes, attracting those seeking power, and civilizations formed. The Primordial Beasts, as these mana-producing animals were called, became revered. They based their life on them. The worship of the Primordial Beasts now began.
The passage of time continued unabated. In the present the Jerle Federation, an alliance of countries that worship the Primordial Beasts, and the Gildllan Empire, which has benefited from rapid technological advancements, waged war.
With each passing day, the flames of conflict are stirred. Leo, a young federation knight-in-training, sets out on a mission in Lunne, a town that was once under the imperial rule but is now close to the frontier.
