Arena of Valor Garena Challenger Series (GCS) Summer 2023 is about to start its run soon. The prestigious event will kick off on the 19th of August 2023, and will end on the 21st of October. With a massive prize pool and the waiting throne of the champion, the event is calling the teams to showcase the ultimate performance.
Arena of Valor (GCS) Summer 2023: Schedule and Format
The event is scheduled to start on the 19th of August and will end on the 21st of October. Arena of Valor (GCS) Summer 2023 is divided into two stages namely the group stage and the playoffs. The group stage will begin with the opening of the event and will run till the first day of October. All matches will be played in a BO5, followed by a double round-robin format. The top four teams after the group stage will move to the playoffs.
With the top 4 teams from the group stage, the playoffs will start on the 9th of October. Similar to the group stage, a double elimination bracket will be followed where matches will be played in a BO7.

Arena of Valor (GCS) Summer 2023: Prize Pool
The event is offering a total of NT$4,600,000 (almost $145,500) as the prize money. The winner of the event will get a big share of it, which is NT$2,500,000 ($79,000). The rest of the amount will be divided accordingly. However, the allocation of prize money is as follows.
