The CRL West Fall Season 2020 has come to an end and in an intense final, Team Queso won the event to be crowned as the Champions of this season. The team beat another popular team and fan favorite SK Gaming by 3-2 to take the victory. In early March, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Supercell had postponed the Clash Royale League West’s first season of 2020. But it returned and fans loved the overall event even though it was held online.

Group Stage
SK Gaming was the favorite in the competition along with Tribe Gaming, as both teams finished 1st and 2nd respectively in the points table. This allowed them to get direct qualification for the playoffs. Team Queso, Spacestation Gaming, Pain gaming, and Cream Real Betis followed them in the next four places. These four were pit against each other in the quarterfinals.
Playoff Stage
Pain Gaming and Team Queso beat Spacestation Gaming and Cream Real Betis by 3-2 and 3-1 respectively. In the Semifinals, while Pain Gaming surrendered to the Group Leaders by a 3-1 loss, Team Queso handed over an upset to Tribe Gaming by winning 3-1, who were the second favorites after SK Gaming. With this, an SK Gaming vs Team Queso Finale stage was set.
However, in the 3rd place battle, Tribe Gaming triumphed over Pain Gaming winning 3-0.

The final matchups of the CRL West fall season 2020 Grand final were held as follows:

With his match winning display for Team Queso, IAmJP was awarded the MVP (Most Valuable Player) for the finals. Joan Rodriguez was instrumental in delivering four wins for Team Queso, with three of them coming the King of the Hill decider and winning the set alone as well.

The top four teams of the CRL West Fall season 2020 will now represent the West region at the World Finals, which will be held in December. The teams from the West: Team Queso, SK Gaming, Tribe Gaming, and paiN Gaming will face four more teams, PONOS, Fav Gaming, Nova Esports, and W.EDGM, that come from the East in the CRL World Finals on Dec. 5 and 6 to decide the eventual World Champions of the 2020 season.
