Garena announced the registration for the 2021 Free Fire Pro Series, which will land in North America for Free Fire players to compete for a slice of the $50,000 prize pool. This tournament will be Garena’s first official competitive tournament in the region and allow players to compete to be the best in North America and introduce more esports fans to one of the world’s most popular games. Over the course of 7 weekends, North America’s best Free Fire players will vie for a spot in the Grand Finals, being held the weekend of December 17th, 2021.
Free Fire Pro Series North America 2021: Tournament dates
- Group Stages start on November 13
- Last Chance Qualifiers to be held on December 4 and 5
- For teams that place 9th through 20th in the Group Stage
- Top four teams advance
- Grand Finals to be held on December 17, 18 and 19
- 3 Days of Games
- One Lobby per Day and six games per Day
- Prize Pool & Player Bounties Distributed at the end of Day 3
Free Fire Pro Series North America 2021: Tournament format
Along with payouts for the top 12 placing teams, bounties will be in play for more chances to win. Players that earn Most Total Kills, Most Team Booyahs, Kings of Bermuda, or any of the other bounties will be awarded a prize bonus for each bounty.
This weekend, the inaugural Free Fire Pro Series (FFPS) North America continues the road to the Championship with the lineup of teams in the Group Stage now set. Over 300 teams registered for the Open Qualifiers, filling in all the available slots within the first 24 hours, and now 24 are left to take part in the three-week-long Group Stage from November 13 through the Last Chance Qualifiers on December 4 and 5. Only 12 of these teams advance to the Grand Finals and the lion’s share of the $50,000 prize pool.
