Wild Rift League (WRL) Asia Season 2 Finals is concluded with Chinese team KeepBest Gaming being crowned as the champion. In the grand finals, the champion team defeated G2 Blacklist by the scoreline of 4-3.
Being the winner of this esports event, the team won a huge amount of ¥1,000,000 (almost $141,000). Organized by Riot Games, the regional league for Wild Rift Esports in Asia kicked off its Season 2 on the 1st of November 2023. The grand final started on the 1st of February 2024.
WRL Asia Season 2 Finals champion had a swift run in the event
In the final stage, the champion played only a single match. On the other hand, G2 Blacklist crawled to the top from the quarterfinal stage. However, the runner-up team started well in the grand final and took away the first round.
After the end of round six, the scoreline was even and the final round became the decider of who will become the champion. The last smile was smiled by defending champion KeepBest Gaming, after scoring the grand final a 4-3. Gao “DaT” Jianlin from the winning team became the Final’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
KeepBest Gaming pocketed a whopping sum, followed by lifting the prestigious trophy
After becoming the WRL Asia Season 2 Finals champion, the team was awarded a whopping amount of ¥1,000,000 (almost $141,000). On the other hand, runner-up G2B pocketed ¥400,000 (almost $56,500). The other two participants, EDward Gaming and KT Rolster were both awarded ¥300,000 ($42,500). The grand final featured 4 teams in total, 2 each from WRL Asia Conference Leagues.
While no upcoming event is expected to kick off soon, this is all the fans have got to cherish by remembering the matches from their favorite teams. The MOBA is soon going to face strong competition as Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends are coming with their respective esports events which are the center of attraction for MOBA fans around the world.
