KRAFTON is finally bringing what it should have brought long ago. The company announced PUBG UNITED 2025, an esports event where PUBG Global Championship (PGC) and PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) teams will unite. For the first time in its history, small and big screen players will share the same stage, marking a new and iconic journey for the IP. However, it is not certain whether the console version will be featured.

While announcing the upcoming festival, KRAFTON also released a brief teaser of the event, revealing a few key details. One of which is the timeline; the event will begin in November. It will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, and share the stage with PMGC 2025.

The year’s finale esports event for the title’s mobile version is to take place in November in Thailand as well. So, it is certain that the PUBG UNITED 2025 will be held just after new champions are crowned. So far, the event is confirmed, and there are some questions as well regarding its structure and format.
Additionally, we are unaware of the number of teams from each discipline, the prize money, and the qualification process. However, we do know that only the qualified teams for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) and PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) will compete.
KRAFTON plans to revive PUBG esports to its lost glory
KRAFTON isn’t stopping this year with its surprises. From several national and regional leagues to global events, the barrage of tournaments keeps coming. This event is yet another attempt to regain the mobile esports scenario that the title lost to Mobile Legends.
