Natus Vincere (NAVI) is the champion of the Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) CIS Season 3

Season 3 of Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) CIS comes to an end today with Natus Vincere (NAVI) being the champion. Free Fire Pro League CIS Season 3 is the main event of the CIS region bringing together 18 of the best teams. The event started on August 7th, 2021. The champion team scored a total of 84 points in six matches, having a clear 16 point lead from the runner-up, Esports Orig. Being the champion of this season also confirmed NAVI’s participation in the next season of the tournament. Besides all of these, the champion team was awarded $25,000 as the prize money while the runner-up and the third-placed team took $12,500 and $8,000 respectively.

Free Fire Pro League CIS Season 3: As it happened

Even though they ended up as champions, NAVI couldnโ€™t take a single BOOYAH in the grand finals. Rather, they finished the first match being 6th. Runner-up Esports Orig won that match with 13 kills. However, NAVI showed its class in the next three matches as they came third with decent frag numbers. Team Sbornaya ChR won the final two matches but couldnโ€™t take the first position from NAVI.

It was the 40 frags that created the difference between NAVI and other teams. This shows how dominant the team was in the event. Contributing a lot for the team throughout the whole event, Ruslan “Svitogor” Mamatsuev became the most valuable player (MVP) of the championship. He received $ 1,500 for his best performance. The champion team was formed of the following members.

  • Aleksei “Twister” Mukhin
  • Kheibar “VaJniy” Imanov
  • Aleksandr “DD” Bozhkov
  • Amir “Skyrix” Kanatov
  • Ruslan “Svitogor” Mamatsuev
  • Alexander “Glory” Manoil (manager)
  • Mikhail “Kronos” Kamnev (Coach)

Natus Vincere (NAVI) revealed its Free Fire roster last August. Within months of announcing their new roster, the team grabs a major trophy exactly after two months from the signing date. What’s more interesting about this win is that this is NAVI’s first entry in a Free Fire event. But, as the roster was owned by Team Silence before the acquisition by NAVI, they already were an experienced one before going into this tournament, which was a very big boost for the champion team.
