Pokémon UNITE starts the 2026 esports year with three regional events across three continents. One of the events, Pokémon UNITE Championship Series 2026 Europe (EU) League, is set to begin this week with eight invited teams in an online-only battle.

The event will feature a decent prize pool and two direct slots to the world championship. Now, as the MOBA title is set to kick off the tournament, let’s take a look at the details of the event.

Pokémon UNITE Championship Series 2026 (EU) League: Schedule and Format

There will be three events for three regions. All of the events will be centred on invited-only teams and a decent prize pool. There will be two stages in the event.

The first stage will be a double round robin where Best of 3 (BO3) matches will be played, and each team plays two matches against the same opponent. After the end of this round, the Playoffs stage will start.

The Playoffs will be Best of 5 (BO5). The first match will be between the fourth and fifth-placed teams from the previous stage. The winner of the previous match competes with the next-seeded team. And this will go on till we get the winner.

The top two teams after the end of the event will be awarded with direct slots to the World Championship 2026. It will take place in mid-2026.

There is a decent prize pool for the teams participating in the event. The total amount will be $160,000, while the allocation for each team is based on their ranking after the end of the event. Here’s a breakdown of the prize for the event:
