Area F2 Agent Guide: All the tips and tricks you need to know

After a month of beta testing, Area F2 is finally available globally. If youā€™ve read our Beginnerā€™s Guide for Area F2, you already know the basics of the game; what the game is all about, and whether you should play this game. If not, you can go through the guide to fill yourself in on the details. However, if you want a very short introduction of the game, Area F2 is a close-quarters battle first-person shooter video game developed and published by Qookka Games for mobile devices. As mentioned in the Beginnerā€™s Guide, each playable character in the game is referred to as an Agent, each with various unique capabilities. This Agent Guide for Area F2 will look further into their special abilities and playstyle.

Area F2 Attackers

The role of an Attacker is to capture the objective and eliminate any Defender that tries to stop them. During the preparation phase of a Round, Attackers can deploy their ground drones to scout the environment, mark enemy locations, and spot the objection location. Attackers can enter buildings by using various tactics such as door/wall breaching and/or rappelling up or down the building.

Hammer

  • Primary Weapon – MS249, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Ram
  • Gadget B – Grenade, Flashbang
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Hammer

Hammer is a very useful Agent when it comes to breaching reinforced structures. He is equipped with a Ram that can break normal destructible surfaces as well as the ones that are reinforced.  Therefore, it really comes in handy to have Hammer in your team when you come across a surface that cannot be breached by means of normal breaching devices.

Wildfire

  • Primary Weapon – HR416, MOSS500G
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Bow Launcher
  • Gadget B – Flashbang, Smoke Grenade
Agent Wildfire

If you want to cause an explosion but do not want to go too near to it, you can use Wildfireā€™s Bow Launcher. The Bow Launcher fires explosive arrows. These arrows, when fired, can stick to surfaces and explode.

Volcano

  • Primary Weapon – AKL-12, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Thermite
  • Gadget B – Flashbang, Explosive
Agent Volcano

Volcano has access to a Thermite charge that really comes in handy when it comes to breaching walls that cannot be breached with normal breaching devices. This character is almost equally as useful as Hammer, except for the fact that Volcano uses a Thermite charge to breach reinforced walls instead of a Ram.

Boulder

  • Primary Weapon – Expandable Shield
  • Secondary Weapon – P99, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Expandable Shield
  • Gadget B – Smoke Grenade, Flashbang
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Boulder

Boulder is an Agent that you can rely on while entering a room. He is equipped with an Expandable Shield. This shield can be used in its folded form to protect some parts of your body. When extended, it provides full-body protection from the front. This can not only protect you but also your teammates who can stack up behind the shield for protection.

Hawkeye

  • Primary Weapon – SWU
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Folding Scope
  • Gadget B – Smoke Grenade, Explosive
Agent Hawkeye

Hawkeye is a sniper. His gun has a Folding Scope attached to it that can be switched to at any time. This scope can not only help you spot enemies from a distance but can also allow you to see through smoke. Therefore, you can choose any strategic position in a map and take out enemies in your line of sight; even a smokescreen wonā€™t help them.

Phantom

  • Primary Weapon – Skar, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Tracker UAV
  • Gadget B – Explosive, Grenade
Agent Phantom

Phantom has access to two Tracker UAV drones. In Area F2, these drones are deployed to guide through the map and spot any lurking enemy agent. Unlike normal ground drones that are deployed during the preparation phase, Tracker Drones can fire at enemies with tracking shots. Enemies hit with tracking shots will be visible on the map.

Magnet

  • Primary Weapon – SA8A2, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – EMP Grenade
  • Gadget B – Explosive, Grenade
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Magnet

Since Defenders make use of cameras to spot Attackers, having Magnet on your team can help mitigate these problems. Throw an EMP Grenade and take out nearby electronic devices for a short period of time. Moreover, EMP Grenades also disable crosshairs, therefore, your enemies will be most likely firing from the hip when they are in the range of the EMP blast.

Panther

  • Primary Weapon – F2A, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Steroids
  • Gadget B – Smoke Grenade, Flashbang
Agent Panther

Panther is an Agent whom you would probably use when you want to charge at your enemies. He is equipped with Steroids, which when injected on your body, will give you Health and Speed boost which serves as an advantage when taking out multiple enemies. You can also smash through barricaded doors and windows while on Steroids, thus saving you the time to breach them using breaching charges, grenades, or bullets. Moreover, if youā€™re downed by your enemies, you can use Steroids to get back up and fight.

Flash

  • Primary Weapon – Flash Shield
  • Secondary Weapon – MG443
  • Gadget A – Flash Shield
  • Gadget B – Smoke Grenade, Explosive
Agent Flash

Similar to Boulder, Flash is an Agent youā€™d want to have when entering a room. He is equipped with a Flash Shield. Just like any ordinary Shield, it protects you against incoming enemy bullets. However, the most defining feature of a Flash Shield is that it is equipped with powerful lights. These lights can be activated on the will and are highly recommended while entering rooms. These lights almost act as flashbangs as they can temporarily blind anyone in front of it. You and your teammates can then quickly take out enemies before they recover from the flash.

Area F2 Defenders

The role of a Defender is to defend the objective and eliminate any Attacker that tries to capture the objective. During the preparation phase of a Round, defenders must barricade doors and windows to delay the Attackersā€™ approach. They can also reinforce walls to prevent the Attackers from breaching them. Defenders have access to all the security cameras spread all across the map which they can use to spot enemy locations.

Fortress

  • Primary Weapon – MP5F, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Ballistic Shield
  • Gadget B – Folding Shield, Impact Grenade
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Fortress

Fortress is an Agent that can come in handy during the preparation phase of a Round. He is equipped with a supply bag containing body armors. The bag can be deployed which can then be used by the player and their teammates to collect and equip ballistic armor. These armors provide increased protection from incoming enemy fire, thus, giving you more time to take cover or counter-attack the enemies.

Spitfire

  • Primary Weapon – P90A, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Mounted MG
  • Gadget B – Folding Shield, Barbed Wire
Agent Spitfire

Spitfire is equipped with a deployable machine gun. This machine gun can be mounted to provide heavy fire support against enemies. The machine gun also has a ballistic shield attached to it to protect the gunner from incoming fire from the front. This machine gun can be deployed at a strategic point in a room from where you can fire at your enemies to damage them and/or provide suppressive fire to allow your teammates to flank them.

Silence

  • Primary Weapon – 9x19PP, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Jammer
  • Gadget B – Remote Bomb, Barbed Wire
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Silence

Since Attackers can deploy drones to spot your location, having Silence on your team can help solve this problem. Silence is equipped with a Jammer which interferes with all nearby electronic devices. This gives you a tactical advantage as your enemies would walk in unaware of your location and your team can ambush them.

Cobra

  • Primary Weapon – Vector.A, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Poison Trap
  • Gadget B – Impact Grenade, Folding Shield
Agent Cobra

Since your enemies would break barricades and breach your room, you must take precautions that would halt/delay their entry. Cobra has access to a Poison Trap. This trap can be placed at entry points from where your enemies are most likely to enter. As soon as your enemy triggers the trap, it releases a poison gas which gradually lowers your enemyā€™s HP.

Lightning

  • Primary Weapon – FNG9, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Shocker
  • Gadget B – Barbed Wire, Remote Bomb
Agent Lightning

Lightning has access to a Shocker device that can be used to electrify metallic objects. Enemies or drones that come into contact with the electrified metallic object will suffer damage which will force them to find another way to the objective. This will help your team as you can now focus on other entry points since your enemies wonā€™t be able to approach the objective from the electrified path.

Swamp

  • Primary Weapon – MP7K, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Gas Grenade
  • Gadget B – Barbed Wire, Impact Grenade
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Swamp

Swamp is very similar to Cobra, except this Agent uses Gas Grenades instead of traps. These Gas Grenades can be thrown which will stick to surfaces upon contact. When triggered, these grenades will release toxic gas over a large area and will damage any enemy walking into the gas.

Wolf

  • Primary Weapon – UNP9, MOSS500G
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Trip Mine
  • Gadget B – Impact Grenade, Remote Bomb
Agent Wolf

As your enemies would be coming in through doors and windows since they are easy to breach, you can actually use this to your advantage. Wolf is equipped with a Trip Mine which can be placed at such places. As soon as your enemy triggers the mine, it will explode dealing a huge amount of damage and may even kill your enemy.

Spider

Primary Weapon – Ber12S, MR1014
Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
Gadget A – Vitals Scanner
Gadget B – Barbed Wire, Remote Bomb

Agent Spider

Even though Defenders have access to security cameras, it is not always possible to check them during combat as you will be vulnerable to enemy attacks. Therefore, the perfect way to detect enemy locations is to use the Vitals Scanner. Spider has access to a Vitals Scanner which can stick to surfaces and reveal enemy locations near it.  This will allow you to point your guns in the right direction and prepare yourself as you would know exactly where your enemies are.

Black Hole

  • Primary Weapon – 9mmX1, MR1014
  • Secondary Weapon – USP45, Magnum
  • Gadget A – Magnetic System
  • Gadget B – Impact Grenade, Folding Shield
Area F2 Agent Guide
Agent Black Hole

Your enemies are very likely to throw explosives before entering a room to weaken/stun you. However, one Agent can make sure that this does not happen. Black Hole has access to a Magnetic Device which can be placed on a floor or a wall. This device destroys all metallic explosives in its immediate spherical area, thus, saving your team from damages.

Conclusion

Of course, this goes without saying that reading an Agent Guide is not the same as playing as an Agent in Area F2 itself. Nothing beats the first-hand experience. However, it is always good to know what youā€™re walking into and prepare ahead. Now that you know about the Agents in Area F2, you probably have already narrowed down a few of them whom youā€™ll use in the game. It is, however, recommended to try out each and every Agent in the game as you may not always get to play with your favorite ones.
