Introducing the Basics
Beasts
There are 65 beasts that you can summon and train as your powerful army. They are separated into 4 Class (Tank, Mage, Rogue, Berserker,), 5 Rarities 9 (Common, Rare, Epic, Mythic, Legendary), and 5 affinities (Vorm, Theras, Ghaia, Haala, and Slern). Each beast has its own abilities and you have to train the team to a certain level in order to unlock the skills.
Stronghold
In order to protect your fortress, you will need strong protection by building a towers complex. The 4 kinds of towers you have at your disposal are Tank, Heal, God, and Damage. There are twelve towers to select from, all with their own distinct results, such as Stun, Cure, Freeze, and others that will help you defeat enemies.
Affinities
There are 5 affinities that applied to both Beasts and Towers. Vorm is associated with Fire, while Theras associated with Water, Gaia is affiliated with nature based on Goddes Gaia from Greek Mythology. Haala is associated with light while Slern is the eternal guide of darkness.
Multiplayer
Clash of Beasts is all about multiplayer, so you can join a guild to unlock extra PvP gameplay, access the Loan Beast feature, and chat with your clanmates about strategies and life in general. There’s also a Clan War feature, which allows you to order members to join attacks for the greater good of the clan. The more players join in, the more Soul Shards you can earn, it means that it’s well worth taking an active approach.
Clash of Beasts Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks
Since Clash of Beasts is testing your ability to improve your beast’s attack while strengthening your stronghold, the key will is about the balance. You have to split your essence for training your beasts, and another for upgrading your towers. You don’t have to use essence to upgrade the main building in the base since it will use gold. The players have to focus on upgrading essence well, gold mines, and storage so you can have a huge amount of gold and essence.
1. Train each beast with different Affinities
You will grant 5 slots at the beginning of the game and you can open the slots until 10 maximum for your beasts. It is recommended for you to train each beast with different affinities for your roster to avoid the affinity curse.
For the common base, they will only have 2 until 3 skills that will unlock once they reach the next level while rare beasts will have 4 until 5 skills. Make sure that you have at least 3 beasts with maximum level so you will finish the raid in no time.
After having 3 beasts with maximum level and all unlocked skills, make them as a reserve and start prioritizing your low levels beast in order to gain exp faster. Do not worry if they die earlier in the raid because they will still gain exp from the raid. You will need beasts to reach their maximum level in order to become parents for new beasts that you will summon in the beast forge.
2. Watch the enemies affinity
The most important thing that you have to keep in mind before you start the raid is your enemy’s affinity in order to avoid the affinity curse. Affinity curse activated when your beast affinity match with your enemy’s affinity.
It will decrease your beast attack power by 25% and its mana will be not regenerate. You can see the enemy’s affinity by the mini-map in the right before you choose your enemy, there will be a giant circle with specific colors accordingly to the affinity.
3. Prioritize the Tower Complex
Your tower complex will be your last hope in repelling enemies beasts. So it is recommended for you to build them as soon as possible. Once you build three towers, you can activate their affinity according to your own will.
It will summon one mystic beast that will enhance its capability. Farm essence quickly will grant you a two-tower complex with two different affinities in two days. This will bring a huge boost to your defense.
4. Complete the Quests for more Resources
There will be three different quests that you can finish through the game. There will be contracts, daily quests, and story quests. Contracts are mostly filled with tasks regarding your beast while daily quests covered most of the game aspects including your fortification upgrade. It will give various resources that will be useful for you.
How to get essence quickly in Clash of Beasts
Essence will be your main resource in order to get the essence. However, you have to upgrade it in order to maximize its potential as it only produces 100 essences per hour at the beginning of the game. You can briefly boost its production rate by 100% by utilizing an Essence Well Boost. These increases for 24 hours can be obtained through rewards and crafting.
You’ll require a high-level Workshop in order to craft more. If you have a Beastmaster Pass active, you can also gather more Essence. You earn 50% more resources from gathering, so it’s finest if you wait up until your Essence Well is teeming with Essence to get the most out of it. It will be best to raid enemies who have more resources, including essence and gold. Sometimes they have good fortification and it gives you more difficulty before you can raid them but if you have more than 3 beasts at disposal with different affinities from your enemies, it will be easy.
