- Mega Knight evolution since its introduction has been a tough nut to deal with.
- These three decks help in using the MK Evo in an effective way in Clash Royale.
Ever since Clash Royale introduced the Mega Knight Evolution with the September 2024 Season 63 update, there’s no denying that it has been one of the favourite picks for many. We have seen plenty of decks having the Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale, and to be honest, it can get quite irritating.
Given his immense power, building the right deck around him is crucial. So, here’s my guide to the best Mega Knight Evolution decks you should try in Clash Royale.
Best Mega Knight Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale
Arriving with the P.E.K.K.A. evolution, Mega Knight became the first Legendary card to get an Evolution. With the Mega Uppercut ability, every time he attacks, he knocks back the target by 4 tiles toward the nearest enemy crown tower.
This knockback is just enough to set up his jump attack, making him even more dangerous. Plus, with a 1 Cycle activation, he becomes effective in those decks where he can be cycled quickly. Still, with a mix and match of strategies, here are my suggestions.
1. Mega Knight, Valkyrie, Hog Rider, Knight, Arrows, Bats, Goblin Gang, Musketeer
Average Elixir Cost: 3.8
With Hog Rider as its main win condition, this deck has been a good mid-ladder plus deck, and can even work at the top with the right push. The key here is defending with Mega Knight and Valkyrie, and with Knight, you make sure ground swarms get handled, while Musketeer provides defense support.

Use Bats and Goblin Gang for defense and distractions, and they can also be bait for those who use single spells. Arrows clear out swarms so your Hog can get through, most prefer Zap or Log but I felt this to be the best option. Check this deck out here.
2. Mega Knight, Wall Breakers, Bandit, Miner, Zap, Little Prince, Barbarian Barrel, Bats
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
This is a deck that is a nightmare to defend with. I haven’t got the complete taste of this deck as I’m missing the Wall Breakers evolution, but it surely was tough to beat this. Mega Knight and Bandit act in both defense and attack.

The cycle of Miner and Wall Breakers while defending with Mega Knight is a pretty effective working strategy. There’s no denying that we’ll struggle against air with this deck, but this is good enough to go for that kill. Copy the deck here and check it out.
3. Mega Knight, Dart Goblin, Bats, Skeleton Army, Freeze, Goblin Gang, Hog Rider, Princess
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
Another effective deck I’ve used, have recommended this many times. Somewhat similar to the first deck, but with a couple of changes. Instead of the Valkyrie evolution, you use Dart Goblin’s poison dart, and that irks a lot of players.

The plan is to defend with dual swarms and Mega Knight, then counter-push with Hog Rider. Freeze comes in handy for both stopping pushes or making it easier to punish those opponent towers. Since this deck relies on baiting spells, keep track of your opponent’s cycle. You can copy the deck link here.
That wraps up my best deck guide for the Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale. If you have any other deck recommendations, feel free to share them in the comments. In the meantime, check out some other related Clash Royale articles:
