So, Mutations Mode is a adrenaline-charged mode, where you’ve to battle mutants and enjoy high-stakes survival shutdowns. It features Terminator and Hero mode. When the game starts, you get a few seconds to relocate to a safe location, and once the countdown ends, few players are turned into Mutants that hunt you.

Terminator

In Terminator, both Black List and Global Risk forms alliance to subdue all the mutants and infected humans. Here, at the start of each round, some of you’ll randomly become Mutant Hosts, and if you’re attacked by a Mutant, you’re infected and transform into Mutants too.

And, the last 1-2 surviving players become Mutant Hunters, and if you’re among them, you need to survive till the end to win the round. You can either choose Random Map, or play from the options, like Resort, Excavation, Dawn Village, or Zone 13.

Hero

In Hero, a random Hero joins your team, and the mode introduces a Morale system. Thanks to this system, you earn attack bonuses by eliminating the mutants. Here too, you get the same options of maps to play from.

Tips and Tricks to win matches in Crossfire: Legends Mutation Mode

I will share some basic yet important tips that will help you get the coveted win in this Mutation Mode.

1. Relocate tactically before the countdown ends

At the start of every round, you need to use the few seconds wisely to relocate to elevated or narrow areas. This way, you can stay safe, as it becomes harder for the Mutants to rush at you, and you can easily shoot them down. I mostly try to get to rooftops or any elevated area, as it gives the best survival chances.

2. Try to team up with other humans

If you’re solo, you’ll are more at risk of getting infected by the mutants, so I suggest you stick closer to other humans. This way, you can protect each other and double up the fire power to stop the Mutants.

3. Try to do consistent damage to gain damage bonus, not don’t just panic shoot

One thing you need to remember is that panic shooting won’t benefit you in any way. So, you need to focus and try to give headshots for more damage. If you’re low on bullets, just switch to your Melee weapon and hit them, or relocate quickly to a better location and reload.

4. Choose the right Mutant types and split the humans

Now, if you become the Mutant at the start of the match, make sure to not blindly rush and attack the humans. Your goal should be to flank and scatter the humans to decrease their fire power and ruin their teamwork, or it will be really tough for you to infect them. So, make sure to select the right Mutant types and use their abilities.

5. Use your mutant utilities and attack from multiple angles

As a mutant, you get certain skills, like a special grenade or invisibility skill, so make proper use of them. Try to use them first, and then rush together with other mutants to attack from multiple angles as humans usually hold down one angle at a point.
