eFootball 2026 has brought in a lot of packs to kick off the new season, which has been pretty great to have a go at to kickstart the latest edition. Of course, the Nominating Contract in eFootball 2026 has been something that we players look forward to the most, and the latest one available is titled “Back in the Game” this August 2025.
Featuring players who are making a return to the football pitch following their injuries in the previous season, the pack is surely looking to make a strong start to the NC lineup. So here’s my review of the players and verdict alongside selection picks ranked.
eFootball 2026 ‘Back in the Game’ August 2025 NC players listed
Rodri
- Position: DMF
- Playstyle: Anchor Man
A free Rodri card is a dream come true and an absolute steal from this pack, I should say. He thrives at cutting out opposition play with sharp interceptions and clever positioning. His defensive awareness is high enough to make him a wall shielding the backline.

Passing is another strong point, allowing him to keep the game ticking without unnecessary risks. Though he doesn’t carry explosive pace, he makes up for it with those defensive attributes. Sliding Tackle and Heading skills are needed here.
Interestingly, I compared this with the famous Tchouameni card we had from the match pass last edition, and Rodri doesn’t seem to be an upgrade, so that NC card still is one of a kind.
Éder Militão
- Position: CB
- Playstyle: Build Up
Here’s another excellent free card. Militao has a very strong player ID to back his performances since eFootball days. I’ve played with his regular card for a long while, and every card of his excels it, and even this seems to be a significant upgrade.

His defensive numbers are excellent and very servicable even in the current meta, and get good speed numbers with builds above 85. Acceleration is okay, still might give you trouble with the through ball meta, and doesn’t have a weakness in the air.
Paulo Dybala
- Position: SS
- Playstyle: Creative Playmaker
Dybala is a card that tempts you with flair, and maybe that big name he carries. I’m not a big fan of his card, but I must say that due to the dribbling being smoother, he can be a good super-sub option. He’s got silky dribbling and a left foot that can create magic around the box.

His finishing is decent for his role, packed with the needed skills as well, while his Passing also stands out, letting him slip into a creative role when needed. That stamina hit is the reason I would ask you to make him a sub he still has a good burst of energy to offer.
Bremer
- Position: CB
- Playstyle: Build Up
Almost a copy of the Eder card, but yes, a downgrade kind of. He thrives on strength, able to shrug off attackers and win challenges with ease. Tackling is solid, and his skills are also all present for a CB role, and even include One Touch Pass to release pressure quickly.

The numbers aren’t very impressive, but he does look good for the Italian League-themed matches. Aerodynamically, he comes good, too, using his frame and timing to clear danger, although the numbers aren’t really eye-catching. Again, this is another decent card.
Ferdi Kadıoğlu
- Position: LB
- Playstyle: Offensive Wingback
Here’s a nice utility player in the mix, someone who can play anywhere on the flanks. He’s decently quick on his feet, with good acceleration that helps when overlapping or tracking back. Crossing ability is decent, expected for a wide player.

When you look at this card, you can see it would be a waste playing him at LB without him getting any defensive skill, and for the wings, he lacks finishing. Wide midfielder is the best bet; he can cross, dribble, and run with a good burst of pace, which will get the best out of him.
Marc Bernal
- Position: DMF
- Playstyle: Anchor Man
My personal pick since I’m a Barca fan, but I also have an unbiased verdict for this lad. One of his strengths is standing tall at 191cm with a natural DMF profile. What immediately stands out are his defensive numbers, which are pretty good for a 17-year-old.

He also boasts some nice passing numbers in auto build, with good passing skills as well. Now, downsides are kind of hard to ignore. He doesn’t get a single defensive skill, and I’m not too sure if you are willing to slap your tokens to this card since he is not good enough to start with this huge disadvantage.
Verdict on ‘Back in the Game’ August 2025 NC players in eFootball 2026
Here’s my ranking for the new NC pack.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Overpowered) | None |
| S (Strong) | Rodri |
| A (Good) | Éder Militão, Paulo Dybala, Bremer, Ferdi Kadıoğlu |
| B (Average) | Marc Bernal |
| C (Below Average) | None |
This NC pack is a fair start to the new season, but doesn’t quite deliver a “must-pull” feel. Rodri and Militao stand out as the two strongest cards, both offering reliable defensive presence with good player IDs, but Rodri is a level above the latter.
Dybala is fun for dribbling, but stamina limits him to impact sub duty, while Bremer and Ferdi are serviceable yet unspectacular choices. Bernal, despite being promising, simply lacks the tools to make him competitive at this stage.
Pack Rating: 2 out of 5
