eFootball 2026 is celebrating its journey towards a massive milestone with the 1 Billion Downloads campaign, and with it comes a special Chance Deal pack featuring Ronaldinho and Angelo Peruzzi as new Epic cards. Unlike your typical Epic packs, this one doesn’t ask you to spend Coins directly, instead giving you free chances to pull Epic players just by logging in daily.
Through the Special Login Bonus, you get access to multiple Chance Deals. There is also even a returning version of Steven Gerrard in the pool; there’s definitely some excitement around what you might land.
But since there’s no Selection Contract involved at the time of writing and everything depends on chance, the question is whether this pack actually feels rewarding or just another roll of the dice that may or may not pay off. From looking at the cards, here’s my review of how they can play out in-game.
eFootball 2026 Epic 1 Billion Downloads Chance Deal pack review
Ronaldinho
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass
This Ronaldinho card sits somewhere in between his PSG and Barcelona versions, so it looks like a very balanced take on him with this AC Milan version. The technical side is excellent; ball control, dribbling, and tight possession are all fantastic, which means he should feel extremely smooth on the ball.
Combined with his skill set, this is exactly the kind of player you can rely on for carrying the ball and beating defenders. Passing is also a big plus here. Gets the Phenomenal Pass ST skill, which will help his 80s stat in passing.
So I expect he can create chances centrally as well, just like his other cards. Shooting is solid, too. Finishing is also great on this one, with 90s kicking power and curl; he should still be very effective cutting inside and taking shots. More reviews if I get to pull him.

Angelo Peruzzi
- Position: GK
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Show Time Skill: None
This is a debut card for Peruzzi, and for what it is, it actually looks like a solid free option. The profile is more similar in style to Iker Casillas. Reflexes, parrying, and overall goalkeeping stats are all strong, which suggests he should perform well in close-range situations and quick shots.
However, the main limitation is obvious, which is height. At 181 cm, he’s on the shorter side for a goalkeeper in this game, and that will affect his reach, especially against those blitz curlers. That said, his jumping is high, which helps compensate slightly, and his reflex-based profile should still make him reliable.

Steven Gerrard
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
- Showtime Skill: Fortress
Getting a card like Steven Gerrard for free already makes this a pretty exciting addition, and after trying him out myself, I can say he still brings a strong presence in midfield. He fits the classic Box-to-Box role perfectly, covering ground, contributing in attack, and stepping in defensively when needed.

On the ball, Gerrard is very reliable. His passing, particularly long balls, stands out the most, as he can switch play and create chances with ease. Even in the current meta, where midfielders are expected to be quick and responsive, he holds up well.
That said, the Show Time skill Fortress does feel a bit underwhelming here. It doesn’t really elevate his strengths the way something like Visionary Pass does, still, I’m not going to judge it harshly since it is a card that is a year old.
