eFootball 2026 Epic J League (Iniesta, Torres) pack review: Two super-sub legends

While we know there have been some incredible packs that have been released in eFootball 2026, say those high-rated cards that even go to 108 or 109, here’s a cheeky pack that is currently live, the Epic J League. I say this is interesting because we have two legends of the game, Andres Iniesta and Fernando Torres.

I personally don’t spin for any of these cards, because I don’t see myself using them, but the cards these two have are not bad. In fact, both come with two Show Time skills, and numbers for their position are looking decent, too. So, should you spin for this or not? My review is here.

Table Of Contents

Andres Iniesta

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass and Visionary Pass

Iniesta card, typical one here, strengths remain the same. The auto-build pushing him toward CMF isn’t really ideal, because this card clearly performs better as an AMF or even slightly wide in midfield. The playstyle is what keeps him a little behind that pure AMF role, but you can get around it.

On the ball, he feels exactly like you’d expect. Tight possession and balance are very high, so turning in small spaces and escaping pressure is easy. Look at the skill combo, both Phenomenal Pass and Visionary Pass on a card; you’re getting one of the best distributors in the game.

Finishing is not something you need to focus on here. He can score occasionally, but his role is clearly to create and dictate play. Not the fastest too, but you are not releasing through balls to him to catch up, make use of him to get past, make space, and create chances.

Suggested Skills: Double Touch, Super Sub, Long Range Curler, Fighting Spirit, First Time Shot

Fernando Torres

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Target Man
  • Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header

This is honestly one of the weirdest Show Time cards I’ve seen, mainly because of the Target Man playstyle. It’s rare to see it used on an Epic-level striker. I’m not sure if we ever had Epics with this role on a card apart from Koller and Giroud before.

That said, the stats themselves are actually very solid. Finishing, speed, and kicking power are all in a very good range, making him feel like a strong S-tier type striker on paper. The addition of Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header is awesome.

Aerially, he’s usable but not elite. Bullet Header helps a lot, but the heading stats aren’t at the absolute top level, so he won’t dominate every duel like taller meta strikers. Still, he will be effective enough if you play crosses occasionally.

Dribbling and on-the-ball performances are decent, so he won’t feel too clunky. Mainly, the Target Man playstyle itself means he’ll drop slightly and link play rather than constantly making aggressive runs, which might not suit everyone. This is where the card feels a bit off compared to more meta striker roles.

Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Fighting Spirit, Long Range Shooting, Double Touch, Super Sub

Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct, Off the Ball

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Fernando Torres
