eFootball 2026 keeps digging into football history with its Epic card releases, and the Epic Madrid Chamartin B pack is one gift for the Madrid fans. This pack features three legendary names from the club’s past: Michael Owen, Claude Makélélé, and Steve McManaman.
After spending time analyzing the Epic cards, here’s my full review of the eFootball 2026 Epic Madrid Chamartín B pack, ranking them in a tier list and my verdict if you should spin for this pack.
eFootball 2026 Epic Madrid Chamartin B players
Claude Makélélé
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Showtime Skills: Phenomenal Pass and Fortress
Makelele has always been that DMF in eFootball, where I can call him the benchmark for ground defending, and this card largely sticks to that reputation. His Chelsea versions in particular have always felt like absolute monsters, and even here, the core identity doesn’t change much.
Defensively, this card is ridiculous. Near-perfect defensive awareness and tackling, aggression close to 100, and on top of that, 90+ speed and acceleration. That combination alone makes him one of the best ball-winners in the game.

On the ball, he’s better than people give him credit for. Tight possession is solid, passing is clean, and he won’t panic when pressed. That said, this is where the disappointment creeps in. Fortress and Phenomenal Pass feel like underwhelming Showtime skills for a Makelele card.
Long Reach Tackle would’ve taken this from great to outright broken. As it stands, he’s still top-tier, just missing that extra spice you expect from a Big Time-level destroyer.
Suggested Skills: Through Passing, No Look Pass, Heel Trick, Sole Control, Aerial Superiority
Suggested Booster(s): Strength, Duelling, Shutdown
Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Makelele

Michael Owen
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Showtime Skills: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst
This is a classic Michael Owen card in eFootball. Turquoise indication in those offensive awareness, finishing, speed, and acceleration, makes it easy to predict how he is built. Auto build takes his Acceleration over 100, so definitely you can polish him better.
Acceleration Burst combined with 99 acceleration makes him deadly in behind. His off-the-ball movement is excellent, and he consistently finds space between defenders. Finishing shouldn’t be a problem either; the early 90s are good enough.

Dribbling can go easily to the early 90s, which can be adjusted as per your liking. The downside, and it’s always been the same, is physicality. At 75 physical contact in my build, which is the best without damaging other stats, he’s easily the weakest striker in direct duels.
If you’re unhappy with players like Mbappé or Romário holding off defenders because of their small frame, Owen will struggle more in those situations. Depending on your playstyle, you can use Owen to his full potential, as a pure pacey goal-scoring machine.
Suggested Skills: Double Touch, Long Range Shooting, Aerial Superiority, Fighting Spirit, One Touch Pass
Suggested Booster(s): Off the Ball, Ball Carrying
Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Owen
| Shooting | Passing | Dribbling | Dexterity | Lower Body Strength | Aerial Strength | Defending | GK 1/2/3 |

Steve McManaman
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skills: Momentum Dribbling
McManaman finally making his debut in eFootball is interesting, and on paper, this is a very solid first card. At RMF, he brings pace, dribbling, and creativity, which already fit the role nicely. He’s quick, smooth on the ball, and feels very responsive.
Dribbling is the standout here, and combined with his balance and speed, he’s comfortable carrying the ball forward. Passing is reliable, finishing is decent depending on your build, and he can contribute across phases without feeling limited.

That said, this card feels, just fine. Creative Playmaker is an okay fit, but it doesn’t elevate him the way other winger playstyles do. When you compare him to the wingers we already have in the game, he doesn’t really push the meta forward. For a debut card, it feels a bit okayish.
Suggested Skills: Long Range Shooting, Outside Curler, Fighting Spirit, Low Lofted Pass, Sole Control
Suggested Booster(s): Breakthrough
Suggested Progression Points Allocation for McManaman
| Shooting | Passing | Dribbling | Dexterity | Lower Body Strength | Aerial Strength | Defending | GK 1/2/3 |

Best pick from the Epic Madrid Chamartin B pack in eFootball 2026
I spun for this pack to get Makelele and got Owen, and I would say the overall value of the pack is decent because you have three different styles and positions, so you will come out good with any pick.
But if you are someone who wants endgame picks, I would say wait, because these cards are almost close to that SSS tier, but not there. Some better cards are coming for sure, with proper Show Time skills, so I suggest waiting for them.
Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Endgame) | None |
| SS (Excellent) | Claude Makélélé, Michael Owen |
| S (Strong) | Steve McManaman |
| A (Good) | None |
| B (Average) | None |
| C (Below Average) | None |
Pack Rating: 3 out of 5
