eFootball 2026 has introduced a new Epic pack in the Spanish League Midfielders pack, and it marks the debut of a world-class player. With Clarence Seedorf and Takefusa Kubo appearing, who have seen Epic cards previously, the latest debut is of Thiago Alcantara. Is it worth spinning for this pack? We’ll find out in this review.
eFootball 2026 Epic Spanish League Midfielders players
Clarence Seedorf
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass and Low Screamer
At first glance, this Seedorf card looks like a very safe midfield option. The spread in his stats is quite even, which is what you’d expect from a Box-to-Box profile. Passing numbers are strong, especially low pass, and that Phenomenal Pass skill is a good addition too.

Defensively, those numbers are over 90, good awareness, engagement, and tackling mean he can contribute off the ball well, and he has always been a solid defensive player, even in his older versions. No weak foot is also amazing.
He is fast and can easily last the full 90. The missing parts are Heading and Finishing and I’m not worried about them in any case, since that isn’t his role. Could this card have been better? Of course, but it still is a contender for the top CMFs that can also put in a defensive shift.
Thiago Alcantara
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Orchestrator
- Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass
Thiago finally makes his entry as an Epic in eFootball, and for some reason, I’m a little disappointed with how the card is presented. First, let us talk about strengths. On the ball is where he shines. Ball control, tight possession, and passing are all top-tier, and Visionary Pass only makes it lethal for him.
Dribbling will be an absolute delight with this card; I can easily see that. Speed and acceleration in the 80s are not bad; you can push to the late 80s at max. Defense was never his strength, still he gets points allocated in the late 70s, which I feel is useless.

This Thiago card feels very system-dependent. If you play slow, where you can slowly move around and create chances, this is for you. If you are into physical, ball-shielding players and need a defensive orchestrator, well, this shouldn’t be your pick.
Also, not too happy how they gave us his debut. He absolutely had to have another Show Time skill, Phenomenal Pass would have fit him well, but they didn’t. Not really a strong card to offer on debut, but yeah, will take it.
Takefusa Kubo
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass
Kubo’s cards always get good treatment. This card gets even better (might even be better than Thiago) when it comes to numbers. His dribbling, tight possession, balance, and acceleration are all strong, which is expected of someone who plays on the wings.

With Momentum Dribbling in his arsenal, I feel he can get some progression cut and bring those passing and shooting numbers up. Phenomenal Pass is a welcome addition. Not a big fan of his card, as we have plenty of better options available. They tried to make him convincing with two ST skills, still not too great.
Best pick from the Epic Spanish League Midfielders pack in eFootball 2026
I skipped this pack because Thiago just gets a single ST skill with stats not pleasing enough for his consistent Barca version. Milan’s version of Seedorf is still the best in my opinion, and with plenty of cards coming this year-end and start of the year too, we can save our coins.
Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
