Elona Mobile, a roguelike RPG game for mobile has been released for almost over months now and has a ton of content to explore despite its small size. As with every RPG, there are dungeons to raid which give a ton of good loot, but almost always have negative aftermath. These mainly include the loss of allies and health due to negative statuses, buffs and debuffs applied, especially after clearing high-level floor Nefia. In this Elona Mobile guide, we’ll help you clear most of these negative status and useful potions quickly by explaining what causes them and how to get or prevent getting them.
Status Combinations
Statuses are entitled warnings of inflicted buffs or debuffs, to the player appearing next to the player profile. They are not to be confused with skill-related Buffs that apply only once the player consumes types of potions, eats blessed food, steps on a banner, or uses Magic-type skills. Once inflicted, they will last for a few turns depending on what status is applied, if it was Blessed or Curses, and how much it stacked.
From the get-go you’ll be having trouble maintaining these as they each have different means to resisting, curing, or amplifying them. You may view their benefits/hinder by tapping on their respective heading. Below, we’ve listed them by category and how to get rid of or prevent them. In this Elona Mobile guide, we will be focusing on all the status combinations and potions in detail to help you advance smoothly in the game.

Potions
Potions are liquids that offer various results when drunk, thrown, or mixed into equipment, food, and more. The term potion seems to apply to everything that can be ingested and change or apply a certain effect. Potions leave behind a certain status, buff, or debuff depending on their type and quality, hence this guide mentions them. For example, grey quality potions usually apply minor buffs/debuffs, while purple adds a superior effect, especially if Blessed or Cursed in some way.
Throwing a potion will cause a puddle that lasts for a few turns, causing the same result as when ingested upon stepping into it. While throwing potions is a lot less accurate than when directly consumed, it is handy for example invisible enemies and causing the Wet status, resisting fire damage. In this section of our Elona mobile status combos and potions guide, we’ve listed the most known potions below, to grasp the concept of how they can be useful in the game:

Additional Tips for Potions
1. Always stock up on potions
Potions are the type that needs to be consumed when preparing for or defending against a particular situation. Since not all potions are as widely available, it’s a good call to stock up on them, even when they’re not needed. You never know when they’ll come in handy so save them up in a Warehouse (bought from a shopkeeper in the Embassy) for later use.
2. Learn Alchemy and Investing
There are a lot of potions in the game, so picking up Alchemy and training it early on is a step in the right direction. Also, keep investing in magic shop vendors so they can supply higher quality potions at a cheap price.
Final Thoughts
It won’t hurt to look into a potion’s description every now and then to see what changes they’ll bring. As the game updates, it will only get harder to understand the mechanics of how some of the work. All these tips and tricks on Status combinations and Potions will surely help you to progress further in Elona Mobile. Once you’ve grasped the concept though, you’ll see stuff like Alchemy and Stat conservation is easy and understands why Elona is distinct from others of its category.
