Fightland is a massive team battle arena title from the makers of Bloons TD 6 and Bloons Card Storm, Ninja Kiwi, that lets you engage in large-scale team battles with a blend of MOBAs, Battle Arenas, and team combat gameplay. In this Fightland Beginners Guide, I will provide some tips and tricks to help you get started and improve your gameplay experience.
Fightland Overview
Let’s start with the gameplay overview to help you get a clear idea of how it works. So, it begins with a short lore about the trio, who are the apexes of their respective worlds, brought to Fightland by the Receptionist, and you’re given a short tutorial about Fightling, three classes, outfits, and more.

You can pick from any of the three and change it later to make other Fightlings, as you get three slots for free. You can then choose their weapon, appearance, outfits, secondary, and battle assets, before heading into battles. As you battle out, you can even master your Weapon and enhance the attacks.
Now, I will say that the gameplay is not as smooth as Brawl Stars, and there’s no hit marker, and you can’t aim, so keep that in mind. Besides that, every match, you’re either dropped in Last Base Standing, Crystal Carry, or Fightzone, each having different win conditions.
Introducing the Basics of Fightland
Classes
The game offers three classes:

- Brute: Brutes are big, and with them, you can use powerful crowd-clearing weapons to wreck enemies on the battlefield.
- Rogue: They’re fast and sneaky, and although small, you get access to ranged and melee weapons that can attack fast and hurt enemies even faster.
- Mage: Here, Mages float above the ground, and you’ll get to wield magical weapons that can cause great damage from a distance or support your allies.
Weapons and Secondary Weapons
Each class also comes with a variety of weapons that you can select from according to your playstyle. For instance, if you pick Brute, you can choose from Soul Hunger, Demonhaunt, Meteorite Cannon, and Anvil Storm, each with different attacks.

You can take the Secondary Weapon into fights, and you can unlock a lot of them. Like for Brute, you can pick Battering Ram, which lets you charge forward to knock back and cause damage. And, you can pick up the Battle Assets, like Spacemaker or Instigate, in each game, like CODM’s custom loadout drop.
Outfits

In this game, Outfits are not only for aesthetic value, but they also provide you with various powers, and as you progress, you’ll get the opportunity to unlock more. So, you can pick armor like Guardian Plate to give 15% defense rating to allies.
Challenges
You’ll find both Daily and Weekly challenges in the Challenges section, and by completing them, you can earn a variety of rewards like Weapon XP, Brute Currency, Rogue Currency, and Mage Currency. The only thing different is that Weekly challenges are the reward quantities, and you also get chests.

That said, the challenges are not that tough, so you won’t have a hard time completing them. For instance, you get tasks like apply Slow effects 75 times or deal 500 damage to opponents from critical hits in Daily, or deal 3k damage to opponent Bases with Demonhaunt or its Masteries in Weekly.
Store

The in-game Store has various sections for Weapons, Secondaries, Outfits, Appearances, Battle Assets, and Others. And they’re quite costly if I’m to be honest, with the cheapest being the Battle Assets. Here, you even have to buy additional fighting slots from the store.
Fightland Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks
1. Customize your Fightlings strategically
Don’t just pick any class, but make sure to tweak everything properly, right from weapons and outfits to your secondary weapons and even battle assets. None of these are cosmetics, so your selection directly affects how well you’ll perform in-game.
2. Master all three win Conditions
Here, each match drops you into one of the three modes I mentioned above, and since each has different objectives, you have to learn about them and what works best in each mode to stay ahead of your competition.
3. Make sure to clear Daily and Weekly Challenges
In Fightland, Daily and Weekly Challenges are one of the easiest and fastest ways to get important rewards like Weapon XP and class currencies. So, do complete them timely manner as they’re not that tough to begin with.
4. Keep experimenting and master your Weapons
As you progress, you’ll eventually unlock better weapons, secondaries, and more. So, try to create different fightlings as you get three slots, master your weapons, and switch classes whenever you feel the previous wasn’t enough.
5. Stay away from the Store
I would suggest not spending any money on this title, as at its current state, buying a better weapon or outfit won’t bring any change to the general gameplay. I mean, at the end of the day, it’s still your decision, but you can enjoy a free-to-play approach right now.
Final Thoughts
Fightland did try to provide a very chaotic experience with its new massive team battle arena genre, as it mashed together MOBAs, Battle Arenas, and team combat. But didn’t quite polish it up, as on paper the game should be very fun, but the same doesn’t quite reflect in its gameplay.
It is facing various issues at the moment, but the devs have assured, “update coming very soon that should fix up a bunch of those types of issues.“Meanwhile, if you still want a pleasant experience, you can follow this guide. Happy Gaming!
