Fortnite‘s new futuristic Japan-themed season has been released a few days back and it is going on in full flow. The new season has introduced a lot of new weapons, skins, quests, and challenges along with a whole new biome on the map. On this vast island, players can loot for weapons from chests but inside they will get weapons of Uncommon or Rare rarity. Holo Chest is one where players can retrieve Legendary or Epic rarity weapons and here are its locations in Fortnite MEGA.
Holo Chest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Holo Chests were first introduced in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. They can be unlocked by using keys that can be found throughout the map. Players can easily differentiate these chests from normal ones. They have a hologram of the weapon they contain inside floating on top of the chest.
Holo Chest locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Players need to use the key which they can acquire by buying it from the CRZ-8 NPC for 100 Gold Bars. They can also use the Keymaster Augment to get two keys at once. They can also be found as simple loot in various locations. This season has also witnessed the comeback of Heisted Exotics in the game. It can also be found in these chests themselves. The total number of Holo Chests has seen a huge surge than the previous season. A total of 42 of them can be found on the whole map.
Holo Chests are found in great numbers throughout the map with the new futuristic biome. It has a whopping 13 chests in their area alone. Finding Holo Chests is incredibly easy but if players are looking for one which contains a Heisted Exotic exclusively, they’ll have to search for a bit. The chest which is situated between Mega City and Anvil Square is opened with two keys at once. It rewards the players with a Heisted Exotic.
