Safes were introduced in the game to help players get Gold Bars as they are not so easy to come across. The Gold Bars let the players buy various exotic weapons but bounties alone don’t provide enough Gold Bars quickly enough in a match. That is why safes have not yet been discarded by the developers as they are a very important part of the game still.
Safe locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Safes can be found in great quantities stashed throughout the map. Every biome has more than one safe in them and each one of them contains Gold Bars for the players and they can be easily opened by anyone. All one needs to do is stand close enough to it and click on the interact button for some time and the safe will open.
It takes longer than what time it would take to open a chest normally so players can ask the help of their teammates if they are playing in a squad to speed up the process. The image provided shows all the locations on the map where safes can be found. Locations such as Mega City and Pleasant Passage have quite a number of safes but the most number of safes are located in Brutal Bastion. This location has 11 safes in total with three of them located right in the center of the map.
