One can use this pistol to lock on enemies while they are still and shoot them directly even if they are moving. This is why the weapon is pretty annoying for the people who are getting shot at with it because once they are locked on it’s pretty tough to not get hit by it.
Players can try to run in a zig-zag fashion to avoid getting locked from the beginning itself or they should try to put as much distance as possible between the gun and them as it is a pistol, it has more close-range damage-dealing capabilities.

The Lock-On Pistol can be found in several places as forms of loot such as ground loot, loot from chests, and from supply drops too. Players can increase their chances of getting their hands on this pistol by landing in POIs with a high probability of more loot spawning such as Mega City and Anvil Square. After finding one, players can complete the challenge with this pistol and get rewarded with 15000 experience points.
The Lock-On Pistol is one of the last major additions which is being added in the game from the trailer which was released at the beginning of the new season. Though Epic Games might still release new things here and there as they normally do and this might be the last addition we were told about beforehand.
